Game of Dice in a nutshell: “Pay $900 to win for a month.” $900 gets you to upgraded version of the monthly “event dice”, which have 91% dice control (your ability to choose the number you roll). You can not earn these dice; you MUST pay money or paid currency for them. Earning enough paid currency requires a guild that places high in the rankings, your own ability to rank high in the weekly rankings, and will take 3+ months of saving. The next best dice are 54% dice control and still require money or paid currency to obtain. 54% is absurdly low compared to the 91% you’ll be competing against. The game is very pay to win. It was far better a few years ago. Itwas still pay to win, but new things could be earned. Paying simply bypassed earning it. Now, you can only pay or save for months, playing against 91% dice control pay to win players the whole time with your 25-54% dice control. Edit: Also, playing team match with a random player on the current “map of the day” (rotation of maps from the past) will put you up against AI opponents with an AI partner with a low prize amount, instead of waiting for more players. They do not mark them as AI, but they never speak, have no guild, use the same cards every game, and you can’t search for them after a match. Be prepared if you choose to play; this game is HEAVILY RIGGED IN FAVOR OF PLAYERS WHO SPEND MONEY!! NOT SMALL AMOUNTS! UPWARDS OF THOUSANDS!!
A great innovative game

I got this game a few years ago and expected a monopoly ripoff, but this game is actually good enough to call its own! It has a diverse amount of ways to customize and grow to get better, as well as offer a wide skill cap for experienced players. I would go as far as to even say it would be worth it if this game cost a few dollars, but it's free! Worth the try.

The game looks amazing but obtaining new characters is impossible without at least spending a hundred dollars it’s very unfair to say the least and older characters are extremely underpowered compared to new ones

I am extremely stressed out. This game is very fun and all, but I’ve gotten to the 13th quest, and once I get to where it says “check missions”, it’ll keep me on that screen and I’m not able to tap anything after that. I even deleted it and redownloaded it, and it’ll still just keep me on that screen. I’m no longer able to play. :(
Rigged game, pay to win, unfair system

this game has a fun and intriguing concept, however that all covers up a rigged game. players that choose to spend hundreds and thousands have access to cards and dice that give the player an extremely unfair advantage such as nearly 90 % dice control. game is flawed in many ways, and the support is unresposive and unhelpful. I recommend not wasting your time and money with joycity.

[OLD PLAYERS, KEEP READING] I downloaded this game when it first came out, and played until the beginning of Season 2. I stoped playing around this point and deleted it from my phone. When I saw an ad for their second anniversary I downloaded it again, excited to pick up from where I left off. But when I logged in, I had no progress. When I tried to figure out what happened, I came across a FAQ page for players going through what I was. I gave them the info from my account, and they set me up with everything I had. My skills, dice, inventory, and characters were all there as I had left them. So if you are a returning player, go to JOYCity’s website, look at their FAQ, and try to get your progress if you want it back.

First my account gets deleted (yay half a year of work) gone! I tried logging in but to no avail. Next I get kicked off the game likely losing because auto is literally the worst. It says to check my WiFi. So, I turn on my data. And... it doesn’t work. I restart twice and by the time I finish the review I’m likely to have lost. Yay my first loss on my new account. Also, it’s super slow in game which I don’t get. I’ve tried putting my data on at the same time as my WiFi but it still won’t work. So to add onto my already worsening attitude I got less data to work with. And don’t blame me overusing my data and that’s why it won’t work. I have an unlimited plan. I’d like to see what kind of excuse they come up with. Super mad that I even decided to redownload this, now I remember why I deleted it in the first place.
