The mechanics are simple enough. Direct a fleet, gain territory, gain experience/improvements, repeat; you can't divvy up your fleet, and you don't need to manage the production of ships, leading to simple to understand gameplay, yet requiring complex (or about as complex as you want, based on the AI difficulty) strategic thinking to remain in the game. I would recommend it for those who play more complex RTS games, who also like to stay in practice in their free time. If you play on 'Hard' difficulty it will still be challenging, thus it will still provide a challenge.

It was fun at first but when you move to normal it's quite bad. It's challenging which is good however it seems red will always beat other competitors. If red is taken out it becomes guerrilla war with one army on the opposite side taking over your planets when you get to them they run away to conquer another planet.
