Judged by modern standards, this game is not very good. But it does what it is trying to do very well, which is to bring an ancient video game (circa 1970s) back to life on a modern platform. Bravo! I wish I could get more of my favorites from bygone eras! What would be truly awesome is to get Atari Star Raiders or Star Control 1 (more modern versions of very similar games) to work on an iPad!

A fun look back at one of the very first computer games! Replaces the ASCII graphics of the original with some nice artwork, but the challenging turn-based play of the original remains! Similar to the mainframe text-based "Star Trek" game, as well as "Trek-80," "EGATrek," and a host of others.
