I absolutely hate the game if I had played GOF2 second I would have had other things to say I just hated every thing about it if you at least made it an open world I would at least would give it 3 Stars and please Make a Star Trek and Star Wars Version of GOF 2

I really enjoy this game, it runs PERFECTLY on older and slow devices with short loading times. Graphics are fine, sound and music is great, gameplay is pretty sweet. It is not the best, as campaign mode is a little thin and there’s not a whole lot of strategy, but if you are looking for a fun space-shooter game that runs well, then this is the game for you!

It needs an iPad version because the iPhone version on x1 view on iPad has pixely graphics.

First off, I loved this game. Given the time of it's initial release, the graphics are understandable. I'm sick of those reviews who say "Gof2 was so much better...uggggghhhh!!!", well this was released years before iOS systems could handle graphics so shut your stupid mouths. The story is pretty good, the controls...iffy but works well after a while. God I remember playing this on my iPod years ago. I loved this game so much I bought gof2 on the first day of release. It's nice to go back and remember the past. Finally the music is well orchestrated, especially the planet/space station theme.

I decided to go back and see where gof2 began and got this game. But soon encountered problems as it has troubles with touchscreen usage, and therefore I couldn't buy anything for my ship or anything of the sort. I am pretty sure that it is due to ios9, so I would recommend some optimization for this new software.

Love the gameplay, but touch controls don't work. Can't tap an item to buy or view info in the Shop. No other intuitive controls for how to select items.

Items like shields and weapon upgrades are crazy expensive, and there's no way to grind and earn money. So once you get to the more difficult missions, you just die over and over without earning any credits. Only way to progress is to pay cash for credits, the very definition of "pay to win". I'm uninstalling this garbage and I ask that you please don't support this kind of greedy game model

So, about 2 years ago I got this app....I still have it. I have spent almost 42 hours on the game. Have over 3 million credits, and am only about 63% done with the Galaxy map. I don't know why, it is just a great freelancer space shooter that gets progressively harder as you go deeper into the Galaxy. Would recommend for anyone on any device old or new. 9/10 from a very picky mobile gamer.
