Totally worth playing... but

Great game and is getting better but it is becoming expensive to grow your points and stay competitive with those people that are really spending money. Maybe find a way to level the field for people who can't spend as much.

Most of these positive reviews (maybe all) are clearly written by the developers to improve their ratings. Frequent updates allow the real player reviews to be buried. Shameful. There are almost no players using this game to compete against- perhaps 20 worldwide. It's a shameless pay to win. Your best planned attacks are easily undone with a paid shield before they land. Wow.

I've played this game for many years, going back to the days when it had thousands of players worldwide. No more! Greedy, inept developers totally changed it and made it pay-to-win, added awful graphics and a very buggy interface. It's also become a huge battery hog because of the clunky 3-D engine...prior to there were still a few hundred hard-core users playing, now its down to about 25! Don't believe the fake 5-star reviews, they are all put there by the developer using aliases to counter the many bad reviews. Notice that at least 4 of them were posted on the same day, Feb. 18. Click on "show all reviews" to see even more 1-star ratings posted since this version was released.the current update has not come close to fixing the bugs, but even with all bugs fixed the game itself has been destroyed, it's virtually unplayable. And there's no one there to play with...

I have to give this game up. It just takes too much time. The key to this game is similar to Celtic Wars- time your attack launches so they arrive at the target at the desired time. Sometimes this will require you to lose sleep in order to launch at the correct time. If you're willing to sink your life into this, at least for a little time, then this game has a lot to offer. Contrary to other reviews, documentation is enough to get you through. There's lots of building, resources to collect and galaxies with lots and lots of planets to colonize or capture. It was fun until it started taking up too much of my time.

New version destroyed the game

I've been playing this game for many years, it has gone through its growing pains through the years but the 3D update completely destroyed the functionality of the game. The developers won't listen to the loyal players feedback and have subsequently destroyed the game from what it was. The new version is what some two-year-old will enjoy with pretty pictures in bright colors. But for the players that have been loyal customers of this game it has virtually destroyed the concept of the game. Not because of the bugs that plague this new version but rather because it has completely reinvented the game. Don't waste your time, don't waste your money.

I just downloaded the game just to delete it. It used to have a very simple interface and was extremely fun to play. It seems like they traded the simplicity for a 3-D model that may look cool (it doesn't to me), but isn't anything like the game I played 3-4 years ago

I remember when this was strictly a text based game and it was beautiful. Exactly what I was looking for. Now it has turned into something that it's not and it is disgusting.
