MediServe has created this G-code “functional modifier” conversion app to help you score patients appropriately as a part of our Claims Based Outcomes Reporting (CBOR) Initiative in cooperation with our Pac-Metrix.com outcomes platform. We have included many relevant outcomes tools for you to select; input the score you have captured which then translates to the modifier code published by CMS, plus other useful reference resources.

This won’t help you program a mill. Apparently G-code isn’t limited to engineering. Who knew?

Good tool to get G-code Modifiers

I love what it does. It does the 180 degree conversion of what a therapist look for and the assessments we use measure - ABILITY - to the impairment/disability measurement for G-codes. I would give you a 5 star rating if there was a way to enter scores for assessments not on your list and/or assessments like the In-Home Occupational Performance Assessment (I-HOPE) and the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) which have more than one score. I've figured a work around, but it would be nice to have the app do it automatically.

Ultimately, it would be great to have more standardized assessments linked to the app, but I've saved a lot of time using this app versus looking up codes. Productivity requirements preclude therapists and billing specialists from being able to use multiple resources during charting and billing but this is a quick reference to have on your phone or tablet.

Please add the ability for the test to populate and score on the app. Then add ability to save multiple tests for review, then this will be a great functional app for clinical and home health use! Thanks J Vaughn, PT

It helps with discharges to measure progress in percentages which takes out the subjectivity. Have a hard time when I get "Exception" despite having an Internet connection. Nothing I do makes it work then. If there were a way to correct the "exception" I would give this app 5 stars. Thanks.
