Firework is so fun! It’s going to be a very influential platform! Definitely get the app and set up an account!!! ??♥️

I was emailed and invited to attend a video call with the chance of becoming a Firework Content Creator. I took time out of my day to attend the video call but was ignored every time I tried to log in. I tried for 15 minutes ( ridiculous ) without a single response. I even tried to email them to reschedule and was still ignored. The app it self seemed pretty cool and I was excited to contribute with music, graphics, comedy skits, etc. Sadly, this experience was far from professional and I’m no longer amped about this app. Regardless of the Content Creator outcome, I would have loved to support this app, but this experience has completely changed my outlook on how they do business. I will be deleting my account.

But there was a problem for me. The app would freeze whenever I tried to use it. Otherwise it worked fine and it was an app I used often.

Before their staff emailed me, I know nothing about the app. They sold me a dream stating that they loved my post on IG and wanted to hire me as an influencer that could make 3k a month. After scheduling an interview for the next day and downloading their app (mandatory when scheduling the interview) within hours, I get an email stating that I didn’t have what they were looking for. I’m guessing they needed more downloads and profiles on their app to make it look more legit and popular when in reality it’s just a remake of Snapchat.

They invite you to interview to be a content creator just so you’ll download the app and mine your data. The only reason I’m giving a 1 Star is because there’s no option to give ZERO

After several forms of outreach from Firework, like emails, texts, etc. requesting and confirming a meeting, a rep emailed minutes before the meeting to cancel saying, we aren’t a match. They had asked me to download the app and familiarize myself with it before the meeting— it appears just to be a tactic to gain more users by feigning a paid partnership. Not cool. Afterward I attempted to delete my profile and saw there is no clear way to do this... if you are a content creator— steer clear and don’t waste your time.
