Learning the times tables is essential to moving forward in mathematics, but many children become discouraged and frustrated with rote memorization. Don’t let them get discouraged so early on! This app takes advantage of multiple learning styles and uses mnemonics.
The mnemonic techniques can also be applied to many areas of learning, not only to learning the times tables, helping your child excel in other areas of their education. If your child is going to take the time to learn some mnemonic techniques, why not learn some that are useful beyond just multiplication tables?
Random drilling, as in other apps, is not very fruitful when there are just a few times tables that your child is having trouble with, since only a small fraction of the random selections are the ones your child needs to practice. Fun Times Tables! (aka Funtimes Tables!) quickly learns your child’s weaknesses counting BOTH ACCURACY and SPEED. The app then makes a custom selection of questions and drills the weakest parts of the times tables over and over, continually refining the selection.
Fun Times Tables! is also designed to quickly give you and your child specific information on how your child is doing with clear progress bars and rankings and even down to specific questions that give your child the most difficulty.

Note: If you have a child that knows the times tables already but needs to be quicker, you can also skip the teaching segments and have the student take advantage of the focused custom drills based on their weaknesses. Just review the "note to parents" section that explains how to do that.

My 8 year old really enjoyed learning her times tables with this animated and dynamic app. As a math teacher and homeschool mom, I’ve spent lots of time using different methods with students to teach times tables and this app is one of the most comprehensive and useful tools I’ve used. The facts are taught first using a powerful memory system, with fun sounds, animations and quick quizzes. Then the student goes through focused drills earning belts along the way. I’m always looking for great apps that do the teaching for me and allow my kids to be independent and this app does both! With minimal parental and teacher involvement, students can independently use this app. Parents and teachers can easily check on their student’s progress and see where any trouble areas are. Another thing I like is that the app will track the progress of multiple users, so several children learning their times tables can create separate user names and have their own belts and progress reports. Funtimes Tables is an extremely helpful tool and program, it makes learning the multiplication facts fun and easy.

Lost too much time with other apps. We have a big family and education at early stage is very important for us. Supplementing learning through fun and effective a with apps is the way we have been trying to do over the last year or so. This app worked like a charm, not like other apps. It's far more interesting as the kids got to learn while watching clever cartoons. I would definitely recommend it to anyone as it uses a great method that is both learning and entertaining and more importantly, effective.

Loving this app. My kids love it as well. And they learned the time tables quickly after we installed this app. Indeed, this is an effective way for kids who are having difficulty with memorization them, it gives them a creative way to remember things.

This app is not just an app it's kind of a basic helper for your kid to learn the time tables in a fun way and specific way. No wonder my kid learnt so well and I am quite confidant the way it teaches.... Would e efficient for every kid.

This is a new approach of teaching time tables to kids. I love the cartoons and so does my kid. He gets very excited to show what he just learnt. Fun way to learn. Recommend it to every parent.

I have to say I really didn’t see how this would work. I tried to learn with this before I gave it to my son and I was so frustrated!! But, after a while I realized he is frustrated trying to learn the way I learn, so why not! Wow. Just wow. He actually learned his Times tables!! I am blown away. We have spent years trying to teach him his Times tables and now he can learn them! The only thing I wish you could do is re-start or re-watch the videos. He doesn’t always remember it all. I have to make a whole new name for him so he can watch all the videos again instead of going on his own name. But, it’s worth it!!
