This is a fun little app teaching children how to follow directions like open, close, top, bottom, etc. I appreciate the manners displayed when the critters/persons are handed an object. I am somewhat torn between appreciating the repetition but feel it goes a little overboard. When it is set on random, it still does constant repeating of the same concept again and again. Perhaps that could be improved.

A fun way to learn directions. There are 3 levels of difficulties which is great for our family. Most people just assume that any child can do simple things like open the box or paint the dog red but for some children it is a lesson that needs to be taught. And this app is great for that. I really like and so did my children like that they can record themselves saying the directions of the superstar directions, which is kinda like a reward. I would like to see the ability to mix the concepts together instead of just one concept at a time.

this a great app for helping to follow single and multi step directions. this is a concept many children struggle with. It would be nice if the app allowed you to move automatically to the next concept, also if the randomize was truly random. the directions are clearly spoken. it's bright and colorful therefore visually stimulating. this app is great for kids of all skill levels.

This app has clear instructions, simple graphics and no annoying background themes. I like that it is customizable and has the option of increasing levels of difficulty to grow along with emerging skills. Makes a great addition to any teacher/parent's "tool box" for kids who need a little extra help with several concepts.

Our daughter really needed help with direction and this helped focus her. She could work on it over and over. I was very pleased with the bright colors! Guided children very well in what directions and how they needed to do them.

This app was really easy for the kids to fall in love with. The colors and graphics are awesome and they do not want to put it down. Very fun app that will keep them busy for a long time i'm sure. Thank you

This app has been great in helping my daughter practice following directions. Also, it has really strengthened her understanding of right vs. left. It has lots of directions and is easy to switch between skill set questions. Recommended!

Good but not perfect

I'm a mother to preschoolers who have just been tested for their IEP. I was very interested in the forms the testing took and the holes it revealed in their knowledge. One of the tests included how well they followed directions, located objects based on referential data (next to the purple car), and remembered multiple step directions. These are basic skills but my children were obviously developing them differently. This app is a basic version of what I hoped to find. Overall it helps their listening skills and works on some colors, positions, etc. I did find it not as polished from an "entertain the kid" learning game perspective. There's no flashy reward for getting it right. It's not obvious why some games ask for touching and others dragging (kids trying to carefully finger erase instead of drag and drop). I didn't know you could scroll through the right bar of objects and kept wondering why it asked for objects not on the screen. The random concept option obviously isn't quite random. Still, this addresses the concepts I wanted to work on, so great!

Love this following directions app! Definite plus that you have to click to get the next direction. This is useful when reviewing the direction with the child. You don't feel rushed because it doesn't just skip to the next item immediately. I had occassional difficulty when clicking the items requested. Many times I, or the child, would have to click it multiple times before it would register and allow you to drag it to the basket. It would also be beneficial to keep track of the child's correct vs incorrect responses on the screen or at the end of a 'lesson'. Overall, very impressed with this app.

This is a great app for anyone wanting to work with a user on directions. Nice bright, clear photos/pictures to work with. Clear directions for the user and randomization is a plus! I would love to have a way to track users, but otherwise a great app! Thank You Hamaguchi Apps!
