A lot of chinese learning games make no sense to me, but this one is easy, entertaining, and actually helpful! I would have given it 5 stars if it had more lessons. Right now I'm only learning colors... Still great!

As an elementary school Mandarin teacher and a life-long learner, I'm always on the lookout for good Mandarin apps. This one stands out as one of the most fun and most effective, because of the variety of well-designed games and the constant repetition of the words. I will definitely recommend this to my students. I like the graphics and especially the music. I get a kick out of the extra challenge to the memory game (the cards bounce and scatter). I don't like that in the match-3 game, you can have no moves at a certain point. Teaching characters is a challenge, but I think they're on the right track with the character game--again, especially because of the constant repetition on the sounds of the words. Great app! Can't wait for more vocab sets!!

This is a really great app! I have been looking for an app for my 7 yr old who has had some Chinese schooling but stopped recently because of our move to a new city. This will help him keep up with this very difficult language. Very well executed app!!

Helpful. It teaches in an interesting and helpful way. Limited selection though for studying. Right now there's only a color study section

This is really great app for learning basic Chinese words. It's obviously intended for children but I find it helpful at 25 years old. I have no complaints about this app.

Great app for learning and remembering Chinese characters and pīnyīn! A little pricey for what is offered, though, but still a great app for kids learning the language!

I got this app for the 3 y.o. boy I nanny for. He is learning so quickly and loves all of the games. It has helped me a lot with teaching him Mandarin. Although I wish it wasn't quite so much money to get the whole set of games, it is still a good investment if you want to learn Mandarin.
