Awful connectivity

As soon as my BT connects to the FP3, I open the app and the app itself kicks off the connection from the FP3. So my phone will connect in settings but the app itself can’t talk to the FP3. Terrible connectivity bug right now. Waste of $400 purchase at this point.

My app is stuck in auto tune and won’t install the firmware update. Now bike won’t start at all! Can’t download new version. It has been three days so far.

Always been happy with the staff, but it’s been months and still no way of taking the governor off. Endless patches and tunes sent to me and no fix yet.

I mount my phone to my bars and monitor the bikes oil temp with the app, every time I ride. And my problem is that I’m constantly forgetting my phone in the mount, sometimes for hours, only to find it exactly where I left it... in the bar mount and STILL UNLOCKED. Love the FP3, love the app, but for gods sake please revise it to allow the phone to lock after the Bluetooth connections been broken. It’s one thing to lose your locked phone, at least then you have time to remotely wipe it before it’s cracked and your personal data is compromised. And it could be a complete nightmare to have your unlocked phone fall into the hands of those that wish to do you harm. For real, these days your life basically depends on your phone not falling into the wrong hands. PLEASE CHANGE THIS APP TO ALLOW IPHONES TO LOCK ONCE THE BLUETOOTH CONNECTIONS BEEN BROKEN

The basic features are pretty well straight forward. The more advanced features are a bit more complicated. On first use the app froze. However a restart of my phone and the program yielded better results. I was able to flash a new map and bike runs well. I bought it specifically for the auto tune feature. I attempted to contact support through email, but after two days have not heard back. I know it's just the process, but there is no help explaining how to use it. I'll add the 5th star once this works.

App works great to control the FP3 once connected. User friendly interface. GREAT tech support from V&H on map selection. Only gripe is repeated crashing of the App on my 5s (iOS 7.1). Quick fix was to start the App in Demo mode before powering on the bike....no more crashes. Auto tune setup is not as straight forward as loading a canned map but still fairly easy & WAY better than dealing with Dyno runs.

Installed on my 2014 street glide a warning light popped on for the parking brake vehicles not equipped with it. Bike would not run with the program loaded in it. called technical support talk to two different people was advised they never heard of this issue was advised to remove the tuner from the bike and wait for them to call me back. It's been over a month Turner's a $400 paperweight at this particular time they've never called me back the Brake light is still on even with a programmer taken off the bike but they tell me that's a known issue from Harley-Davidson.

App is out of date and won't pair when downloaded with iPhone. But when droid is used u get newest version and works perfect. Bike runs great with downloaded map. Will try auto tune soon then off to dyno I go to see if it works. Will update results
