Works as promised, very pretty on the iPad

I like the app a lot and tend to use it with my fligh simulator all the time. Even though it's themed after c172, it is a good compliment to all planes. Setting up the server was extremely easy - it found the server on it's own! I would like to see different airplane skins

Works great, simple setup

You need FSX or another compatible PC or Mac flight simulator for this app to work. It is not stand-alone. I use it with Prepar3d on Win 7 x64 without crashes or lag. The app will work with aircraft other than a Cessna 172, but the readings of some of the instruments (like airspeed) may pin the Cessna instrument to the maximum value. Beware a few similar apps that claim to provide instrument panels for computer-based flight simulators. They don't work.

On X-Plane 10.20 (Mac)

Works great on the 32-bit version of X-Plane 10, not the 64-bit version, at this time. Fantastic app. I think I will rarely use the cockpit view anymore.

Greatly helps realism

Enjoy flying with full screen of scenery and easily visible gauges. Now hoping for more airplanes...

Very useful app. I like it!

One of the problems of FSX for practicing accurate flying and landing is being able to look around easily. Using the viewpoint hat is ok, but when you have to look at the instruments with this it takes too long to focus on the right instrument and then look back through the windshield. I also have TrackIR, but it is too sensitive and almost makes me dizzy. This app gives you your instrument panel in the one place so you can look at it any time and then get your eyes back on the runway. It is very responsive and gives you a pretty accurate picture of what the airplane is doing. So it helps make the simulation more real. I use an iPad Air and it connected seamlessly through the server program provided by Aviosoft I only experienced it losing connection once, but it reconnected quickly. It will set your cockpit view to the 2d cockpit, but you can easily go back to the 3d cockpit if you want. This gives you smoother panning. I also program one of my yoke buttons to snap the eye point back to center so I can steer the plane properly. I highly recommend this program if you have a later generation iPad. Not sure how well it works on older models. I would be willing to buy other instrument panels. I'm particularly interested in the Cessna 208 Caravan and the Mooney Bravo. Thanks Aviosoft.

Much better than 2nd monitor

stormtracker6

Displays all the good stuff allowing me to go full screen on the monitor.

Perfect with two Monitors

I ran in to a problem using this app with my dual monitor configuration on FSx. The second screen would always return to the front while running FSi C172. I informed Avioware support and within two days they had it fixed for me. I can now have monitor 1 displaying a front view, monitor 2 I use for scanning to other views. My iPad runs FSi for a view of the panel and my iPhone I use to run Avioware's FSi radio. This combination works perfect for me. Great addition to FSx. Well worth the cost.

Brilliant

From app install to PC server program install to up and running in about 3 minutes- brilliantly simple. Zero latency. Touch response on adjusters is perfect. Seriously- thanks for this.

Works awesome on Xplane11 for Mac

Ulooky

Gauges are accurate and responsive. I'm not using my instruments in xplane any longer. I wish these guys would make a radio/nav/autopilot for the 172. I would buy it!!!
