good little game
levelzoo

main menu and fonts looks little bit shabby, but gameplay itself is enjoyable - if you dont mind collecting items and dodging hostiles - different difficulties/level schemes and many items are also good thing in this game. Controls work well, you can move ship with your finger touching screen anywhere. Possible improvement should be online highscores, but it isnt necessary. my rating 3,5/5

juicy fun

it's a simple game but it's well designed and quite a lot of fun. The idea of having a free-to-move charachter, while bonuses and enemies move on fixed paths, is original and works well. Worth the price.

Fun game

I think this is a fun addicting game to play with great sound effects and animation. My biggest gripe with it however are the controls. It is easy to move along the screen with your finger but with my finger on top of the spaceship, I can't see any of the enemies that get too close. I then get frustrated that I keep getting hit. Please fix this somehow!

Good game, and challenging

This is a pretty fun game. It's easy at first, but the difficulty rises as you progress. The gameplay is smooth and there seem to be no bugs :) pick this up for a good quality game.

Interesting concept and well-executed

Fruity Paths for the iPhone and iPod Touch is an arcade game with a fruity twist. You can move your spaceship freely anywhere on the screen and collect fruits and power ups that travel along fixed paths while dodging enemies in your path.  The game is fun and addictive with increasing levels of difficulty. More and more rapidly-moving enemies are thrown in, making it difficult to get to the fruits and colored dots. A fun game for the whole family, Fruity Paths is an interesting addition to your game collection.

Fun game

I was a little worried about how the gameplay would turn out after I saw the simplistic, crude menu setup, but I was very pleasantly surprised once I started playing. It's a fun, casual pick up and play game. A worthwhile purchase.

Great app, well made
Plooney

I was able to get a promo code for this app, I had never heard of it before so I was eager to try it out, the controls are very simple and easy to learn, basically just use your finger to guide the spaceship and collect the fruit, while avoiding the numerous obstacles which make the game more exciting. The instructions as shown on the main menu are clear and precise, best of all, you have a number of items which help you destroy those pesty enemies. All in all, the gameplay is great, I was pleased with the number of levels the game had, and it was fun and challenging.

Fun Game
Mysticway

The game is simple to play, there are 25 levels which get progressively harder. The graphics are nice. The game would play better if it used the accelerometer. The finger you use to move the spaceship blocks some of the enemies making the levels harder than it should be. All in all this is a nice fast action game.

Cute Game That Actually Proves Challenging
PointOfLight

I found Fruity Paths to be a charming little action game. I was a bit concerned that it would be too easy with everything besides yourself being on fixed paths, but in reality the enemies still present quite a challenge, if for no other reason than there are so many of them on screen at one time. There are a nice selection of bonuses and power ups to collect, and the fact that each screen requires a different number of fruits to beat it is cool. The graphics boast nice 80s style pixel art, though the backgrounds seem a bit out of place. The music is well done too. My only complaint was the control. Rather than dragging your finger all across the screen, I'd love to see a little control wheel in one of the bottom corners.
