Frugal hotel let me compare what Hilton hotel, Hampton Inn, Garden Inn, Marriott Hotel, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western Hotel, LaQuinta, Choice Hotel at their sites. I could see the layout of the room, the type of beds, and everything the particular hotel was providing. I hate it when I book thru an agency and then get to the hotel and learn about all the extra costs and disappointment with things I thought were included but aren't. I've always preferred to book direct with the hotel and Frugal hotel finder is the first app I found that lets me see each hotels full offer at their site. Frugal Hotel Finder also let me see motels and discount hotels like Motel 6, Days Inn, Ramada, Econo Lodge, Travelodge, Rodeway Inn. The hotel coupons let me walk in and get a discount without reserving ahead. In this regard, the directory of phone numbers. I also like the feature letting me see local restaurants and even what's showing at the local movie theater.

I think this app is so easy to use on my iPhone to get hotel reservations. I like that I can put in my dates and location & it does the multiple searches.

Let me see offers direct from Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Marriott Courtyard and even Motel 6, Days Inn, And Comfort Inn. Also has hotel coupons that you can use as walkin without prior reservation. Includes Hotwire, Priceline and Googl Hotel Finder. This app saved me money.

Good concept, poor design

Love the concept, but the design and features are less-than needed to accurate plan out a trip in a large metropolitan city. I downloaded and installed app, tried it and deleted it the same day. Main flaws: 1) No map view! 2) No direct entry of an address, city and state only! (again, this is crucial)
