Pass code great but pointless with notifications on

I wish the original Facebook apps had a finger scan/passcode. This is why I tried the Friendly app. It has a passcode but it's pointless if you have notifications on. The notification shows the content without entering the passcode. The app should just tell the user to open the app to see the notification/message without revealing the content. Add the above and I'll be a happy user but I deleted the app.

One thing I wish would get fixed that I could get notifications better I never hardly get notifications even though it's turned on.
The status bar overlay needs to be removed.

This app is a really good alternative to the Facebook app, but I absolutely hate the status bar overlay. I want (I NEED) to see if I'm on wifi or 3G, how much battery I have left, etc. The app is great, but the status bar overlay is a really stupid idea.

This is a great app but I hate when it says the notifications go off when you leave the app, fix that. I don't get any notifications when I close the app
