"This is the best app ever!!!!! This is just what I was looking for and with the recipes it's a very big help when you don't have enough time to think of what's for dinner."

"This app is fantastic. It saves me so much money when I go shopping and helps me plan meals because I know what I have in my cupboard that needs using. It helps to prevent throwing food etc away because you forgot you had it. I love love love this app."

"Great app - Simple to use without lots of confusing decision to make."

"Love this App! - Has everything I need to be organized in my kitchen. I use it for other things I need to keep up with also. I don't think you can go wrong with this app! Keep up the good work!"

---

How it works:

You scan items in using the barcodes. Fresh produce can be entered manually. Anything you enter is saved to a favourites list so you can readd them at the tap of a button. Move items between your shopping list and storage areas easily, and look up recipes that combine ingredients so you know how to use items about to go bad. Create multiple shopping lists and multiple storage areas so you can keep track of as much or little as you like.

Simplicity, functionality and organization - those are the design goals for this app.

The average household will waste 25% of the food it buys and this adds up to over $1000 a year. As well as saving money you'll be helping reduce food waste which is good for both the pocket book and the environment.

Great idea… but too buggy to be useful yet
jumpinJacqueline

I’m giving this three stars even though I couldn’t use it even a little bit. I tried, and the issues were immediately apparent. This is a wonderful concept. It has so much potential! Unfortunately it’s just very buggy. Understandably so, the developer is under-financed, I think, and possibly short-staffed. Anyway, I can’t wait to see what this app becomes… but for now I will be deleting it and looking for an alternative that functions properly and can be used currently.

Scanner could be more useful
NScrips

In theory this app is great. Trader Joe's is my nearest grocery store. I started scanning items in my fridge to create an inventory and have to enter everything manually. It would be nice if the barcode scanner would at least pull up the name and category of the item so I could just add the use by date. This is too much work to put in all this info for each item. I don't see myself manually entering every item I get at the grocery store each week. Idk maybe I'm using it wrong or shopping at the wrong grocery store. Also what is in the $2.99 upgrade? The features of the upgrade don't seem to be advertised anywhere.

Sounds Great

I downloaded the app and tried to upgrade. Can’t seem to upgrade from iPhone nor iPad. I can’t seem to find any reviews, other than the one here from Suzi, that are newer than a year or so old. I sent an email to the developer asking if they were still around and supporting the app but have not received any response. Not sure what is happening. Could be a Great App if I could upgrade and get support.

Wish I hadn't updated
SKirtonBear1

Update took away the ability to look at a list for a single store: now stuck with "All" unless we pay. I have no need for the recipe function, but would like a "photo of the item" option to help us visually-led and numerically-challenged ones to find the item in the store faster. Scan works well half of the time. While the list puts First-aid items before Fruit, stores have First-Aid with the Toiletries: reordering is really important. Favorites list should not need to be completely redone each time I want to add a new item to it. Overall, I'm thinking of deleting it after using it for a well over a year.

Needs an update
bekabug

This app could be great but it really needs some work. It's very buggy at this time but would be worth the upgrade price if it was more stable. The design is great and the advertised functionality is spot on. Update please please please!

So much potential
Elmamil

This app is exactly what I wanted. The inventory of fridge, freezer, pantry, and whatever else you want to add with the ability to share with other people, but it doesn't work. Without upgrading you have limited features, but when I tried to upgrade there was a bug that wouldn't let me. Very disappointed.

Needs a lot of work

9 out of 10 items scanned resulted in no results -- that's when the scanner actually worked. Many times it just plain didn't scan. When it did scan successfully, the basic information was ok, but it seems like things such as expiration date would be in the scan. Manually having to enter that is a big slow-down. Lastly, after a successful product scan, you still have to save the item, go back to the list, select the item again, and THEN you can enter the location of the product (fridge, pantry, etc.). All this extra time just did not sit well with me, as most of my groceries had to sit out for too long. Going to see if there's some other app that's better than this.

Crash happy
Turboluis

Keeps crashing so can't really review. It did sort of work for a few minutes but scanned items were not saved at all so the scanning portion of the apps definitely fails.

Won't open
