Pros: The quality and taste of Freshly meals are excellent. They have a wide selection of healthy options with vetted sourcing and no fillers or unnecessary ingredients. Cons: Waiting to see who the shipping partner is for NC/Triangle area. I started using Freshky while I was on a two month work trip to the Miami area. I had never heard of LaserShip and hopefully will not be subject to their subpar service and unreliability again. On my 2nd order, LaserShip didn’t sort the box correctly and it took a full 24+ hrs to deliver my food from the originally scheduled date. The 4th delivery, LaserShip damaged the box sufficiently to render the meals unsafe—they initially left a note that the item was ‘not able to be left with addressee’. It took them 16 hours to update the status to item damaged, discarded (per Freshly’s guidance). Both times I wrote LaserShip, it took them 4 days to respond. When I called, the agent was apathetic, hard to Understand, and could tell me nothing other than that he would make a note for the delivery driver to call me on future deliveries. It’s my hope that Freshly opts for another delivery service in the South FL area.

The snacks option is frustrating, I was told they’d be MOSTLY different every time. The first 2 boxes I tried were EXACTLY the same except one brand of cookie was coconut flavor instead of chocolate chip. On top of the inaccurate information given regarding the snacks, my normal food order slotted for Monday’s was auto skipped because it landed on a holiday. I asked if it could be moved to the Friday before, and instead of explaining ANYTHING at all the chat support agent just sent me a picture of the delivery calendar. Very condescending considering I’m aware of the schedule considering I’m using the service , I was actually looking for an act of good will exception so I didn’t have 12 meals delivered within 3 days of each other. So at this point I’m on the fence about staying with freshly or finding a delivery service with good food and some semblance of customer service.

First: The meals are great. The service is poor and inflexible. Deliveries get missed or delayed to be undeliverable. Deliveries are dropped if a holiday comes around, no ability to move the date to the day after or before a holiday in the same week. Enjoy the meals. Hate the “service,” and their customer support is very rude and unhelpful. Support via chat outright refuses to explain anything when asked, and will purposely “talk past you” in order to push their narrative. Expect to be ignored, and any questioning to be fruitless.

Meals are ok but pricey

Meals are between 400 And 500 calories. They cost about $10 a piece when you order 6 per week. The meals are tasty and seem to have quality.
