Using the power of the Graplr aggregation server, Gripwire has given FLRP the power to identify and display what song is playing on virtually every radio station that plays music in the United States, without having to physically hold up your phone to recognize the song!
Use the Google mapping feature to pinpoint any location in the United States and click the refresh button in the nav bar to see the nearest radio stations.
View all radio stations by state or city.
See all the albums (scroll left-to-right!) available by your favorite artist and buy them from iTunes!
See videos from YouTube related to the songs.
Tag and save your favorites for easy access later by clicking the yellow hearts. :)

It only supports stations in the US, but you can search, browse, and find out what people in any US city are listening to, can watch streaming videos, and buy that song via iTunes.

Good idea, but app doesn't work.

It will launch and go the map. It shows the right location but the map doesn't have any pins, it's just a map. Then, when I try to manually go to my city, I just get a never ending working wheel. I've tried on 3G and WiFi.

In love with the great streaming stations from industrial, goth & drum and bass LOVE how many stations it has!!!! As for the whole radio stations I could care less!

It's nice to know ahead of time what will be playing in my area. Not to mention I'm the type a person who can't keep track of song names haha, so this app really helps me keep note of those songs. It's cool that I can even buy it directly from iTunes too. Streaming is a nice addition to the app as well. That gold star bothers me like crazy. 5/5

what's it mean by 'played time'? does that have any significance. like am i going to get a bill in the mail or something, or is it just so i know how long i've been listening to such and such station?

Searched for Seattle under Streams and found several stations near me. Touched the station I wanted to listen to and then it started playing right away! Real radio streamed instantly to you, wherever you have a connection.
