How do you take an app that works well and update it so it crashes on open? Deleted app...

I installed the latest upgrade on both my iPad and iPhone, and everything works great! This is a sleek little app that gives me everything I need to track gold and silver prices and play with investment numbers…and it's free. Couldn't really ask for more.
