I needed something to get me up, out of bed. You'd think that any alarm clock would do. But the thing that's different about this one is that when it wakes you up, it's not a jarring unpleasant experience. It's gradual and let's you wake up gradually without letting you go back to sleep. It's genius because it works on the principle that once your brain is awake, it will not go back to sleep easily. This app wakes you up by beckoning to play a simple game of memory (or another game if you buy one of the others). You can set the difficulty level in the preferences. There's no way to snooze the alarm or turn it off until you play the game and win, but the game is really fun, so you don't wake up in a bad mood. It's happened that I've tried going back to sleep after waking up and playing the game (on like a weekend that I planned to sleep in, but forgot to set the alarm to a later time) and It's really hard! I've tossed and turned for like 5 minutes and figured I might as well get up. If you need a foolproof way to get up without being groggy or going back to sleep, I highly recommend this app.

This is worth the two bucks but nothing more. If your going to try it, do not buy any additional "games". I wish I didn't purchase the additional light up effects this publisher called new games. App works well and it helps get me up out of bed, it does do what is says. But publisher shouldn't sell additional content- it's kind of a rip off.

This app would be great if there was no way to silence it. I'll simply hold the volume down button, the alarm silences, and I'll go back to sleep without a second thought.

I really love the idea behind this app. The alarm goes off, the sound gradually goes up, and then you have to complete a mini-game. Literally, you HAVE TO, otherwise it won’t stop. There’s no snooze button and I haven’t found any other way to stop the alarm yet. The memory game is fun and simple, and it may also get pretty hard if you set too many repetitions on the settings. What I like the most is that it really works, it really wakes me up and I don’t feel like going back to sleep. The other mini-games are nice to have, too. I think the mini-games’ difficulty level should be better explained, and I’d also like to have a few more settings... but otherwise I really like it.
