After witnessing the gruesome and mysterious loss of her parents, found dismembered at their home, Fran rushes into the woods, together with her only friend, Mr. Midnight, a black cat that Fran had previously received as a present from her parents.
In the forest, Fran goes into shock over the loss of her parents and when she recovers, she’s at Oswald Asylum, an oppressive mental institution for children, and Mr. Midnight is nowhere to be found.
After having a dream about her beloved cat, Fran decides to escape from the mental institution to find him and go back home to Aunt Grace, her only living relative.

amazing game. dark concept, it really makes you take a step back and look at the world from a different view. the tim burton like animations add greatly to the charm of the whole storyline. the cute factors mixed in with the gory scenes make for a magnificent gameplay experience. i don't particularly like puzzle games (like... at all) but this one is very very interesting. recommend you to buy 100%. i've already played the entire game series. loved it.

UGH! I was really existed for this but I don't even get to do ANYTHING? All that happens is the begging story then it crashes and I don't get to play any of it. IM REALLY MAD I payed money for something I don't even get to play. PLEASE FIX IT

Thank you so much kill Monday! This game is awesome! Just a head start to anyone who is just about to start chapter 1, for a starter, it’s really gory at points,and remember, when your in the office,if you go on the pills,and see a skeleton with a lump with paper on top underneath the skeleton,don’t click on it because it’s super gross. If you wanna know what it is btw, it an unborn child. Ew

I wish you all would clump all of these games together for one fee. I love these games but at $2 each- it's so much for such a short game. Please consider "the clump?" ?

I played the full game and I loved it so much. I can’t explain how amazing this game is. So much detail and work and i love the story and the back story. I love the ending and the land isthersta. The last words she said were so deep and inspiring. “Between guilt and fear, I choose happiness” Great outstanding job! ? Also if you do make a part 2 of this.. what if it was about another child in the asylum like Annie or Isabelle?

I love the series, once you start playing you get hooked through to the end of the last chapter. Its definitely Grimm’s Fairty Tales meets Mark Ryden! Loved Mr Midnight, the cat!! I think Fran Bow will be especially appreciated by arty, creative types and will most likely remain a cult classic. I have a 2018 ipad pro (iOS 12.0) and experienced zero glitches whatsoever!

I see I’m late to this game, but I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! Just finished Chapter 5 today and I’m so sad that the creators don’t have more games to offer. I hope that changes soon.

I LOVE THIS GAME! I first watched my favorite Youtuber play it (#MARKIPLIER) and it looked really cool! So I downloaded it and it worked VERY SMOOTHLY, so I’m kind of confused as to why everyone is complaining! It’s amazing! My only complaint is there needs to be 10,000,000 more chapters!!!!!!!!
