It’s okay till after awhile

I used this app for about three years and it was fine. Till I started getting more serious in art and my mental health. The community can be kinda difficult to be in. I’ve made some friends who were nice but, there’s always more people who are mean. It can feel tiring and repetitive after awhile. It does glitch a lot and can make your drawings not able to post. It can also ruin your hardest piece too. Please be aware that this most likely will happen within a couple of days. I recommend to join a club /or class than using this app. It will help you a bunch.

I’ve used this app for 4 years and i hope to use it for one or two more. The community its awesome (or atleast it used to be) there are (or were) so many supportive, helpful, and nice people here, and im glad to be one of the people who’ll be there for those fellow users in need. Though, there are people who are just terrible, overreactive and irrational- every nice person ive met who have helped me grow and inspired me are gone- now its all teens that act like 8 year olds. Anyone who wanted to follow their passion and have fun were stopped by these people. Though, that aint your fault Cota, nor apple’s I understand that that’s the people, not you nor your app. Your app is awesome, and i love to use it. Though its hard to use, and sometimes frustrating due to glitches, im so glad that its free on my phone. I’m used to almost every glitch and it’s tools. this app has helped me to get better at art, and im so glad that this app exists. It’s honestly the funnest and easiest animation app to use for me. I cant use anything else and i am just so grateful that i can use framecast. Thanks Cota, and good luck with that child, and everything else too! Don’t let anyone down you for how “terrible” your app is, im sure there are more people like me who are happy to use it

I thought this was abandon-ware. I cannot believe this was updated. I used to use this app when i was 8 and i wouldn’t be anywhere near my skill level today without this. The community is welcoming and kind and i get so much nostalgia re-downloading this in 2020. The animation use isn’t great and there is no pressure sensitivity but it was still enough for me. If you are young and want to learn how to animate, and want to share your animations with a welcoming community, get this app.

Not a good app for artists

This app is extremely sensitive and strict towards artists. It’s like a church mixed with Twitter. The community is extremely toxic at times and a lot of bullying goes on here. There’s quite the amount of creeps that have been caught on here too. If you download Framecast, you will most likely be greeted with some form of drama within a week. The app is made for 13+ year olds but the rules are more like an app made for toddlers. You’re not even able to say “butt” or “crap.”

Hi, I’m a user in framecast. I’m not active here and this is PRETTY DEAD. Two people that I know were banned for no reason, or petty reasons at that. Also, there are SEVERAL bugs that need fixing. I understand that Cota has a family, but please prioritize on working on your app. Everyone basically left, and it’s dead. Do not download this app if you want to get followers, there are other apps like MediBang or IbisPaint. The UI for drawing is ok, though. It needs improvement and like I said there are bugs. The mods are nowhere to be seen, and they are unactive most of the time. I wish I was joking. I hope this review is used to improve this app. -A concerned user

I have been on FC for about three years now and I love it to death. Heck, I even met my boyfriend on this app. And I've improved so much since I first started. Sure it has its ups and downs, but doesn't everything? We love you and are very thankful for what you have given us mister Cota, keep up the good work! ??
