You can play without a controller by moving your head and it moves the plane in different directions. When you stare at an enemy, a lock on will trigger and you fire your weapons automatically . It has a good variety of different planes and weapons as well. This is a freemium game though meaning you can spend money to get planes and weapons early, but you can more than likely grind to get them without paying anything. Great graphics including, good lighting, clean graphics, heat effects that come off of your jets, and has really good explosions and particle effects. This game also has great resolution for mobile and probably the best Arcady flight game on iPhone cardboard. Recommended by me to the fullest. Developer if you read this please add more content. Great game though!!

I loved the original Fractal Combat, so when this came out, I went ahead and snagged it, wound up purchasing 70,000 credits (not because the game pushed me into it, I had actually already beaten the game by the time I bought the credits, I just wanted to support the developer). But outside of the great gameplay, controls, graphics, ect... the developer support is simply outstanding. I really can't recommend this one enough to fans of aerial combat games, especially arcade based aerial combat games... this one is a MUST OWN.

The game is broken. It is supposed to give you credits at the start of the game, but it doesn't, so you can't play the game without wasting money on buying credits. Don't waste your time with this one.

A good game with potential

It's a good game in its current state, but what would put it over the top for me is a better control system. I get that it's an arcade game, but it feels really strange to fly. I suggest a "split" control scheme that uses the tilt sensor for roll and pitch while having on screen controls for yaw and throttle. Finally, PLZ add the ability to go up side down, I feel like it really hinders gameplay farther into the game where dodging is key.

I wish I could keep my class 1 plane and be able to complete the extras on the class 1 list, without having to spend credits on doing it over.
