Not bad, overall

The app is a good source for local news, but other categories are updated on a less frequent basis than I like. There's an outrageous amount of typos, so be forewarned. And it crashes any time a push notification or text comes through.

I've had this app for about a week now and it has crashed multiple times. Very irritating! Also, either they don't keep up with the news that well or they don't know what's going on with what's new. This is my favorite local news station on tv, but I get better results with the channel 2, 6, and 8 apps. Please fix this and I'll change the one star rating to five.

Why is a pivotal and most basic question of journalism. Ergo, Why did you change your ap? Failure to explain ask (yourself) and explain to your users loses me. If you can't ask and answer such a basic question I can't trust your journalistic skills in regards to other news worthy stories. I am now longer a Fox23 user.

When I receive a weather alert the app crashes and will not open, going to dump it, channel 6 has better updated news...

This app crashes every other open. I have even deleted and reinstalled. It doesn't update as fast as website. I like channel 2 and 6 apps better.... Waste of time.

Crashes after nearly every open. Very irritating to get an alert and have to mess with the app for 15 minutes to get it to stay open long enough to get the details.

I don't like reading an interesting headline and then opening the article only to find one or two sentences. If you don't have the whole story don't put it out there. All that does is make me go to 2, 6 or 8 to see if they have the details. And ads...move them so we don't accidentally open them while scrolling. If we care about the ad we will open it wherever it is but get it out if the scrolling area.

I used the previous Fox 23 old app every day. This one is not so great. Struggles to load and isn't as user friendly as the first one. I felt like they took a big step back with this app and need to bring the old on back. I honestly use all the other news app 3 times a day and I may check the Fox 23 app once a week. Needs better formatting, stories need to be updated more often and pictures never load with story.
