Was a good app but now...

I used to love this app, however the updated version is full of so many ads and bugs its useless. I refuse to be bombarded with advertisements. Too much! There are so many and so oddly placed and full of video advertisement that you can't even read the news. Please fix bugs and reduce ads.

Worst ad implementation EVER! Almost makes app unusable. I'm getting all of my local news from Wood TV and MLive now.

FOX 17 has the BEST push notifications of any western Michigan news app. I am very impressed with how the people behind the scenes break the "important" news accurately, promptly and respectfully. With that being said, if you try to access the app, it glitches, freezes and runs so many ads you can't read the information. I don't want to, but I have to get my info from other sources because of this. Too much hard work is being done by the FOX 17 employees to have it ruined by some incompetent iPhone app programmer. Someone needs to fix the problem... i.e. hire someone who can actually make a working app.

It's a toss up on who has the worst app, Fox 17 of Wood TV8. They are both bad. As for this app, it's laggy, extremely add heavy, and not little adds, but big adds that take up the whole screen between every news story. The news is only slightly better than the app, which is not saying much.

The big fire at the ballpark. Couldn't read the story or see live streaming. Went to the competitor's app and read the story and watched the live streaming with no problem. Time to go back to the drawing board and fix your iphone app.

Works a portion of the time. Sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesn't. Need to be redesigned by someone who knows what they are doing. Too many bugs for a relatively simple app.

Could not figure out how to view news stories. Just adds on top of adds. Very poor.

I wish it had better voiceover support

As someone who uses voiceover I do not find this app very user-friendly. The app jumps around if I click on a link it doesn't take me to the story I want. It's very difficult to locate items I want to see. When I double tap on the search button nothing happens.
