Every time I attempt to post a comment I’m instructed “Must display name”. Go to setting. I go to setting and I am logged in but cannot do anything. Can’t even log out & YES, my name is there???

Decent, but freezes and slows down

FoxNews, pls fix your app!! When I take the time to read almost every article, by the time I've scrolled to the bottom, articles freeze and the app freezes. I can't even double-tap the Home button to close the app. It locks my entire phone.

First of all let me say this I love Fox News. My problem is the content of this app. There are way to many repeat stories and they are on the app for weeks.

Lousiest app I’ve ever encountered. When it isn’t crashing it’s freezing up. Takes at least 3 attempts at use to get through the list of 20 or so stories. Additionally the story links to Fox Business stories will open the story but then goes white and freezes. Absolutely the worst app ever written!! Would give zero stars but review doesn’t allow it.

WAY too many ads and clickbait garbage. Also, it would be VERY nice if FOX would design their app so that it returns to where you left off after clicking on a story. The way it is now, whenever you click on a story and you’re finished reading and you want to go back to where you were on the homepage, it takes you right back up to the top of the page and you have to start all over again, scrolling through all the different stories rather than bringing you back to where you left off. This is extremely annoying.

Use to really love this app, However there’s so many hyper links on every page, most of the time the page never loads. I find myself having to google the article I’m looking for and choosing the non-fox news one

Crashing Memory Leak

Jan 17, 2022 - Do not download this app. It degrades phone performance and crashes your phone. Very dangerous if you need to call 911. I don’t know why any mobile carrier would allow this app. Not to mention the Apple approval hasn’t caught this issue. I’ve been telling the Fox app team for over a year now and they still haven’t fixed it. I have to clear my phone’s memory every time I use this app, which isn’t much. I use NewsMax or OAN. I’m a professional mobile software tester, so I know what I’m talking about. Unfortunately the Fox app team doesn’t care. Oct 22, 2021 - Fox News app delivers a new bug along with all the other bugs that have made the usability horrendous for users. The new bug is the screen freezes when reading a story. The user can’t scroll up or down the news article and has to exit the article and reopen it. It’s been at least 18 months now that the crashing issue hasn’t been addressed. I’m shocked that Apple and AT&T haven’t pulled the app from the store due to the crashing issues and the possible memory leak that causes the phone to crash and restart. Fox News Product group, get your s*** together or step aside to let a competent leader take the reigns. I recommend using News Max or OAN for a better experience. Oct 14, 2021 - this app sets the standard for crappy apps. And the development teams embrace it. A year and a half and no fixes to address the crashing issue. Not to mention the memory leak that is causing it to crash an eating up resources to make your phone unresponsive causing a restart or memory clear.

I like the Fox News app, But I have signed up to participate in comments on articles multiple times and have NEVER been allowed to comment. So I’m thinking what the hay! I’m not crude, rude, or offensive. Let’s get this crap fixed already!
