What’s with the click bate?

While the app has improved, it’s pretty ridiculous that there are double news stories and clicking on the wrong one redirects you to an internet ad. Seriously?!
News Alerts Are Aggravating

My husband and I both talk about how aggravating it is to get a news alert from Fox 13 only to click on it and be taken to the app where there is no sign of the news story mentioned in the news alert.

After trying several different local news apps for the primary purpose of staying on top of important breaking news that I care about via push notifications, I have finally found one that does it perfectly. The Fox 13 News app allows you to choose what type of alerts you want to receive (breaking news, sports, traffic, and/or weather). Notifications are informative and concise, and limited to only the top few news stories in a given day.

I used be be a ksl reader, then ksl become largely opinion pieces so i tried ABC 4 and they were even worse. I found Fox 13 to be at least a source of news in Utah that provides some actual news. Well slowly but surely Fox 13 has become just garbage opinion pieces. Gone are the days of actually news. Now we are stuck with click bait junk.
