2019-07-12 I downloaded the “free” app. It gave me this thing about being part of a subscription and asked me if I would like to try. Immediately after getting the first level or whatever the 3 easy things are, it pops up & asks you if you are ready to join or do the trial. Apple needs to create a new category called Subscriptions and these “free” downloads that are really not free should go under that. I will continue to give 1 star ratings until Apple changes this. I know the devs don’t control this but until Apple fixes this, I’m giving it 1 star. Either you can charge a one time fee or make it really free. I don’t mind either way, but this trending (not in a good way) subscription thing has got to go. I don’t like it. Charge me one time or make it free.

I got to play for like 2 levels and then it started begging me to pay for a subscription just to play a F R E E mobile game. Sad.

This was supposed to be a pay-once-and-play premium app. But since the developer added a subscription fee, I can no longer play a game that already took my money months ago, before any subscription was advertised.

I bought this game a few months ago. I had been playing it often, until there was an update that now says i need a subscription to play it, despite having already bought it. It’s just a waste of time and money now.

It’s a fun game but two levels in it begs for a subscription. Not the way to get people to play your game. I would have paid money for it like a normal game but I’m not subscribing to something weekly. Turn it into a one time purchase and I’ll buy it.

I got through the tutorial and I was really excited, it seemed like a fun and unique game. There seemed to be so much effort put into it. Unfortunately you get through two levels and they don’t let you continue unless you have a $3 a week membership. I’d be ok with ads, and honestly I might’ve bought an ad free version if I enjoyed the game that much. But to push a weekly membership? No thank you.
