Well it is nostalgic or is it boring. Theses games are a great relaxing on the couch with a controller in hand experience but on a cell phone it translates to cramp hands due to designated save spots that will have you sometimes playing a lot longer than you would like or doing a lot of replaying. I was empresses at first but after some time with it I just don’t wanna play. Never was a fan of flashlight games anyway but this is not a bad game just not for everyone

So I have been playing this game for some months now. I enjoy every minute of it, it reminds me of the classic survival horrors like Silent Hill and Clocktower. But this new update erased my save! Why is that?

seems the game can be completed in only 20 minutes without exploration... disappointing. but the amount of detail to the game, coupled with the music, lighting and voice acting more than make up for it. the director cut will only expand this game in overall everything, plus more Update: Thursday November 16, 2017 Since my last review was more than i year ago, i feel it should be updated since the recent game update just came out after a two year quit. First off, in my short 15 minutes comparing this version on my iphone 6s to the old one on my ipod touch 5, their doesn't seem to be a difference aside from the improved rendering i've noticed. The downside is that while comparing the two, my iphone 6s had a battery life percentage of 49 at start but within 15 minutes of me just going to the first desk in the tutorial, it dropped to 20% battery. I can't remember if the game improved its battery consumption but it does seem to draw more power. Second, the game is now 3.3 gb vs 1.3gb which could explain the massive power loss however the new rendering and improved shadows and lighting shouldn't have made it 2gb more. Overall it's nice to see the developers are still working on the app. I did notice the game was a bit smoother i guess. the massive drain is concerning though! Update: November 17, 2017 I have gotten further enough to where i explored everything( except the torture chamber and the final stage). I can say now that the only things i've notice apart from my first updated review is also their is more vegetation on the walls and ceilings compared to none on the old version except where specifically stated. I also have noticed that their seems to be more intro video scenes than before( i could be wrong though) and lastly the light from the title now flickers. I'm pretty sure i missed some additional improvements but those are the most noticeable i have encountered! Update: Sunday April 15, 2018 You know, This game was already the best horror simulator on mobile, but with the latest update i will compare it in a detailed list: Pros 1) Better post processing effects 2) Makes notes easier to understand and more descriptive 3) Improvement on Graphics 4) changeable frame rates and camera distances 5) Less battery consumption Cons 1) The most important things now continuously glow to make exploring easier 2) Exploration has no real value now because of the continuous glow 3) important objectives like medical supplies have become linear since you are told where they are 4) a lot of graphic settings from the old version have been removed All in all, the welcomed additions will surly benefit the game, however, now it seems a lot more counterproductive to what a survival horror game should be!!

I’m going to tell you right now this the best game on iOS and worth paying for. I would pay $25 for this game on mobile if I knew it was this good. This is a hands down five star game, period. If you like mysteries, horror, grit, and suspense you won’t regret getting this game. The is a masterpiece of gaming. Do not trust this games current four star rating, this is a work of art. The dynamic lighting and attention to detail is absolutely incredible, jaw dropping, five stars.

Controller support is still not complete

You did over 300 tweaks and balances etc. but didn’t finish complete controller support? Please update this game one more time for full controller support. I want to be able to just plug my iPad up to my tv and use the controller to access the menus. It’s kind of dumb the button on the controller pauses the game but not a single button brings up either inventory menus at all and I don’t understand why you wouldn’t have added that with this major update. Even not playing on the tv controller support is kind of stupid since if I need to use my inventory or change weapons I still have to use the touch screen to do so, putting the controller down then picking it back up, which doesn’t work so well during a fight.

Console quality horror Reminds me of silent hill mixed with evil within 2, Some twin peaks elements mixed in too Love the save system. And runs smooth no issues on my original iPhone 6!

The home bar just doesn’t go away (stuck) during gameplay. Please fix otherwise great game and will gladly change it to 5 stars!

I have played all the Silent Hill games. This one held up well. I had low expectations. I was so happy at how the game turned out. My thanks to the developers.

This game is so intriguing and makes you want more and more. I love the combo system and how you have to time your shots. Other horror games don’t even incorporate melee and I like how ammo is in the places where you least expect it. The ending is to die for and I hope their is a sequel to this beautiful game

Pros Amazing graphics, almost unbelievable on the iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd generation with 60 FPS option turned on. Great controls. Amazing atmosphere. Cons — physics could use a little work. — not enough enemy types — game is too short, about 3-5 hours? — I did not understand the ending, could have done a better job clarifying the ending. Overall: 5 stars!!!!
