Archaeologists call it Ur, in honor of the city, where it was discovered.
The city where Abraham was born.
There is no living person who knows original rules of this game, but we tried to repair them for you.
Russian writer and popularizer of board games, Dmitry Skyruk proposed his own ruleset that makes this old game really interesting and unbelievable challenging.
Try to play by our rules! Try to win!
Believe me or not, it is not as easy!
Features:
- Perfectly balanced rules and dynamical gameplay
- Ancient game in a new design
- Comfortable controls
- Unique Sumer style menus and dialogs
- Customizable AI with 4 difficulty levels
A very fun game, it plays very well (especially considering we don't know the original rules to the game, but the developers' interpretation works very well). I wish they would have a more detailed explanation for their rules but it's easy enough to learn as you play, and is a neat connection with the ancient past.
A very well constructed and beautifully rendered adaptation of an ancient game.
It's easy to catch on to the rules once you play a bit. Not sure what the symbols in the menu mean but I'm thinking difficulty level? Good stuff.
I loved the older version of this game. The "fixes" broke it. I've downloaded it to an iPhone 7, the icon is there but it won't open. Black screen then kicks me out. Boo! Fix it!
