These people can’t read!!

It clearly says it’s a catalog to see what apps are compatible with Sync. And to the ones saying Ford only has 10 apps?? Ford doesn’t make the apps, the developers make apps for Ford not the other way around. Let me say it in a easier way so people won’t get lost. This app is just to give you a list of apps that work with Sync.

Waze or Google Maps, Please.

Waze would be the “must have” app for me, and if I can’t have Waze please provide Google Maps compatibility. Waze is so useful compared to most other Nav apps (even tho I don’t like the map it displays, the warnings and auto reroutes are fantastic) A friend has a Subaru and runs Waze right on her center display using whatever Sync-like thing they have. Then there is the rest of the aging catalog, and inability to keep multiple apps running. I looked at this a year ago and avoided it, but just downloaded it because I thought Ford surely would have caught up by now.

I can’t believe ford has created such a terrible app for their customers. Not to mention the ford sync system is the absolute worst user interface I’ve ever encountered in my life! And ford also took away the Siri eyes free away from its users and purposely made it extremely expensive to replace a factory stereo and it’s vehicles. Had I known this before purchasing my car probably would’ve purchased another vehicle. This makes this vehicle a dealbreaker for Me. You are an insult to the automotive industry!!!!!!

Paid 80k for my new truck, and get a whopping selection of about a dozen apps, half that are useless or stupid as hell. This has to be a joke! Ford, you can do better than this, seriously.

This app only provides a short list of apps from the App Store and serves no other purpose. Ford should have just provided a web link.

So sorry I bought a Ford Transit! Transmission failed before it was 18 mos old! Now the Sync app won’t work because there’s no update for iOS 11- fix it Ford!

What moron designed this app and what bigger moron approved it for release?? I’d really like to know. The link to “Using Applink with SYNC” (or something along those lines) is broken. It LOOKS like there’s a “Paid” tab for the apps after the free ones but I can’t click on it because it’s only about 5 or 10% on the screen. So if there’s actual usable content there I’ll never know. There is literally nothing else you can do with this POS app.

I still have no idea what this is even for. It has maybe 5 apps in it any given time and rarely works. Don’t waste your time
