Having owned the previous Force Link, I was looking forward to 2.0. When I purchased it, most of the 2.0 figures I had also bought wouldn’t work with the device, which required a “firmware update”. Strike one. When app finally arrived (almost a month later), I installed it and tried to pair it with toy. It connected but software would update on toy. Strike two. I disconnected Bluetooth in an attempt to reconnect and now it won’t connect at all. Even after deleting and reinstalling software. Strike three. This app and toy is a huge fail and disappointing especially since it comes from Hasbro. The frustration I experienced makes me not want to purchase any electronic toys from Hasbro in the future. Poor work.

I bought my son a Force Link 2.0 starter kit for his birthday. After opening the toy, we find out that you have to download an app. After the app is downloaded, the Force Link needed several updates, which took over an hour to download and install. Once completed, the toy still doesn’t make any noises for figures or ships. Try explaining all this to a 5 year old Star Wars fan that just wants his toy to make cool sounds. Thanks for nothing. My advice...don’t waste your time or your money.

I can’t even get the app to download. Judging from all the other reviews of this app, I believe that even if it ever downloaded, it probably won’t work. How very disappointing for a four year old boy on his birthday.... fix the issues and make this obtainable for use.

Just bought a brand new force link 2.0. It doesn’t sync with the force link and the app shuts down. I have a brand new iphone X so the hardware shouldn’t be the problem. Avoid this product!

Would give this app and the force link 2.0 toys zero stars of I could! My son just bought the resistance a wing fighter with his birthday money and the force link wristband says a software update is required, yet the app is up to date! How do you have toys on the market that you can’t even play with properly because they require an app to work yet the app is garbage and doesn’t work either?!?!? DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THE FORCE LINK TOYS! They are complete garbage and we will be returning them all.

The app crashes after launch. Can’t get it to work. I’ll be returning this toy.

We bought resistance fighter and starship from Target store. Both toy and app don’t work well. Terrible toy. My son spent his own money for this toy

My 6 year old son was given the Millennium Falcon for his birthday. The gift-giver did not realize that it required the Force Link 2.0 wristband, so we went out and bought the Starter Set for him with money he was given by another family member. After downloading the app and trying to pair the device for 1.5 hours, I’m giving up. I know my son will be so disappointed to learn that this piece of his gift doesn’t work either, and I am completely frustrated and disheartened after reading so many similar stories. I’m surprised Hasboro hasn’t pulled the products!
