You can design the decals from the side view of the 3D helmet using photos of, e.g, your favorite sports mascots or drawings of your own. "Football Helmet 3D" will automatically mirrors your design to the other side of the 3D helmet. Furthermore, you can assign different color for the helmet mask and top stripe to match your design.
After applying your design to the 3D helmets, you can touch to rotate and pose your 3D helmets so that you can enjoy or export your 3D masterpiece in virtually any perspective.
And don't forget that with the photo insertion feature, you can definitely decorate your 3D football helmet using drawings you created from any other special doodle apps, namely the must have Glow Doodle!

Two enhancements would make this a four star app for me. 1. Allow the user to change the color of the face mask clips. They are always red, and detract from the overall effect if the rest of the helmet's color scheme has no red. 2. Allow the user to either use an eye dropper tool to select colors from their inserted photos or allow the user to see the numerical RGB values on the color selection sliders. A five star review would follow if the developer implemented multiple helmet and face mask models. All in all, a fun little app, that while pretty rough around the edges, actually delivers on its promise.
Will not save image

Same issue as other review, will not save image, just the background no helmet. Wasted a dollar.

Should have been called "Frozen" or "take the money and Run". Customer service? What customer service! I hope Apple monitors these reviews ! Obviously a generic software developer!
Could be awesome

I understand that you get what you pay for. This app works once you get used to its features. It's buggy, but with a little work you can get by and still make a nice helmet....as long as the face mask is red. The biggest problem is that you can't change the clip colors. So you are forced to have some red in your helmet or it just looks odd. I get it, this is a cheap 99 cent app. But a fix for this issue would make it much better.
