Needs work

NLMG

Hasn't been updated in months and it shows. I signed up and downloaded this app to support my wife's account. The concept seems fine. Would be nice to simply access a database of menus and/or a more detailed breakdown of how many carbs, proteins, etc are needed to meet goals. Instead, it's pass or fail - like playing a video game. Sadly , once you do find a recipe worth trying you can't scroll down to see the full ingredient list or directions. My wife will never have the patience for this.

Worst app ever

Sillygoose73

This is a very bad app. Another lie about "you can cancel at any time ". I got charged in my credit card already 130 dlls for weeks of no service. I called and the number they gave me was redirected to a 411 number. I don't know who to call to cancel this horrible membership. I regret believing in this. We should be able to sue for situations like this. Agggg. I want my money back.

Can't scroll through the food items

Peajay64

After I've inputted several foods into my meal, I am unable to scroll down to look at them all before saving to my journal. This app needs serious updating and support. It hasn't changed in a really long time.

Could be better

Javamama70

Disappointed that I am unable to see how to prepare the recipes when using this app!

can't access on iPad

I love your app for iPhone. I'm able to do most of what I need to while away from home which makes the app beneficial. Would love an iPad app since the one for iPhone won't work on the iPad. I hoped that it would since all of the other apps for iPhone do work on my pad. I gave 4 stars because I like the app. Would have given 5 if the app was compatible with the pad. Please make an iPad app.

Ok but needs improvement

I really Like the details of this app but the I would like to have the ability to scan a upc to enter a food item. The app also keeps freezing up when it can't find what I'm looking for and I need to delete and download again.

This could be a wonderful app when they get the bugs out. I am going to hang in. It keeps freezing: it indicates that it is thinking but it is frozen. Rebooting does not help. Also, the number for the developer tries to sell you 7 or 8 things and then gives you another number that does not function. I have found the secret, don't edit the past and don't plan the future. When you wake up input what you want for that day only. I have not figured out shopping yet.

Really??

It's sad to say that with what I pay to belong to Food Lovers Online, this app should be the top of the line but it's not!! It's absolutely horrible and there are better free apps out there!! I can't scan a barcode, I can't save my foods in the app as a meal, I can't find the foods I save easily and it freezes all the time!! I'm constantly closing out and restarting it every time!! PLEASE UPDATE!!!

Ok app but....

I agree with the reviewer who said the ability to scan barcodes would be a welcome improvement! It takes too long to find many foods and that gets frustrating. The other option would be to allow importing from 'fitness pal' or other such app?!

Needs more...

I would hope they would look at sparkpeople or something like that to add most of the features from the foodlovers online portion to the app itself. Just about anything you can do on sparkpeople online, you can do on the app. Yes, I agree with needing a barcodes scan. I also feel it needs notifications you can set to remind you to eat at the times you set for your snacks/meals. That would be really helpful especially on the weekends when most are very busy not thinking about when to eat. For $64.99 the app should be swimming with features. With that said, I do like the ability to see how my portions are being controlled in the app/online to make sure I am on the righ track. I have the home kit that I ordered a while back, so I think this helps more with portions/combinations with the app and being able to 'see' if I have created the correct combination of foods. If the product improved, I would change my rating.
