Kudos from the maker of a similar app!

This looks awesome, and a better design than my own. Kudos on an app well done!

One major flaw

Awsom game!

Great idea and does what it says. The problem is that when you stop and grab your phone (after you exit your car), the next 2-3 minutes still counts against you. So, you have to either tell it you were not driving or have that time count against you.

Meh

This app is annoying AF. If your phone is not locked it will think you're driving. Even if I set the phone down while driving it yells at me. It would be great if it could either ask you beforehand or tell the difference between driving and being a passenger. I've gotten into ubers and friends cars and the app just starts screaming at me. No thanks, waste of money.

Good but limited

I like the app but want to exclude things like navigation apps. I use those all the time and it looks like I'm on my phone. It doesn't look like it's available in the pro version but if it is, please let me know and I will change the review.

Great!

The app seems to work fine so far. It does continue to count as if I'm driving for a few minutes after I stop, but it eventually corrects itself. I'm not sure why it does this but it ends up right so it's fine. The accountability discourages me from unlocking my phone.

Appreciate the voiceover

I appreciate reminder to lock my phone but I shake my app many times when I am not driving and it still records it as a distracted driver. I injured my arm and giving it the "hard shake" it wants is not that easy for people like me. So when I thought I was disabling it, I wasn't, and there's no option to select a button saying you weren't driving in a certain trip. I've used my other arm to give it the hard shake and apparently it takes the to and from and never changes it. It actually changes it and changed it back cause of the two different direction motion. I appreciate this voiceover out of all. I have seen other apps with free offers have more options but the voice and count total is nice. Wish I only needed one driving app that did it all. Doesn't sound like the paid version would be that either.

Doesn’t recognize when I’m driving

I like the concept of this app, and it helped at times. However there were times when I was in the car that I didn’t get the reminder to turn off my phone AND there were times I was completely out of my car and in a building when I DID get the reminder. Just deleted it.

A Safe Driving App that Just Might make you Crash

Well intended, badly executed. Wasted over a dozen hours … conservatively. I downloaded this app because it’s title came up in a search for ‘focus’ … I wanted a productivity app. Then, around the same time, I updated to iOS11 and suddenly my car was telling me … over and over and over and over … to “Turn off your phone if you’re driving. If you’re not driving shake your phone.” And that’s it… no idea why it was suddenly happening … no indication what feature was saying it … it wasn’t Siri. Three hours on the phone with Apple. They never heard of it. Searched the web to see if anyone else had this problem … nope. Take it to the Apple Store. Genius appointment. They have no idea. Apple says “Record it please” … so I have to borrow an iPad to do that … how else might I? Calls are made to Apple to find out if this is a bug with Do Not Disturb … which is turned off. They think it’s my car … OnStar… which I don’t have active. They think it’s Buick’s message. But the car, 2007, has no BlueTooth. Apple says reset the phone to factory. Back it up, do that. Nothing. Apple says RESTORE the phone. Back it up, do that. Nothing. By now I’ve heard this message a hundred + times and just about every time I do I have to restart the phone … why? … because once it says what it says any other audio app doesn’t come back to full volume .. podcast, Apple music, Pandora, anything. Two months until today. Once again I searched the web with the exact words and someone else made a reference to it. Unreal. It’s absolutely stupefying that the message makes NO REFERENCE to where it came from. At the end simply have a super cute baby voice say “Focus App”. First time I’ve never left a negative review about an app. First time! An entire day … maybe a half-dozen people … trying to solve this absolute mystery.
