Focus Effect is very simple to use:
1. Select image
2. Select foreground object (pinch to zoom to refine boundary)
3. Make adjustment
Great blur effects and many options to get the photo just how you want it. Recommend.
Great app, easy to use, no explanation is needed, and it does exactly what you expect it to.
No support for IPad, at least once you choose what you want to blur, the screen goes from landscape to portrait with aspect ratio screwed up. Decent potential but no competition between other apps which do the same thing. Also, the constant ad is annoying.
I started loving this app when I first used it on my iPad mini running the latest version of iOS 11. After 2 photos, the app started turning my photos sideways making the picture look skinny when it was finished blirring. If this were fixed so the photos finished product was the original aspect ratio, I'd REALLY love this app.
I personally like this app a lot. It does exactly what supposed to do. I’m not going to use it for someone wedding photos, 2nd holy communion etc., but It’s great when I’m on the go or just don’t have the time to sit down in front of the iMac w/ photoshop to satisfy friends that have a few pictures they would like altered.
The blurring effect allows you to cut out EXACTLY what you want to remain in focus, which in theory sounds great, however you are left with HARSH defining lines around the object in focus and it looks awful. Don’t waste your time with this one
I tried to blur out my picture but it kept making it automatically for me and it kept blurring / unblurring the spots that I didn’t want . I downloaded this app and deleted it 2 minutes later. DONT RECOMEND ?
Sometimes (or almost always)I don’t set up shots well and capture stuff in the background I don’t want. I use it for pictures of my foster dogs who often won’t hold still for good shots. The app works very well and has sufficient flexibility to allow me to remove unwanted background noise. It can be a bit time consuming, and a quick mask option is something I would happily pay for. It’s not something I would do to every photo. So this is very valuable to me even without quick masking.
