No more MIDI support?

Nocturnal Sun

This app is my go-to for importing MIDIs; why is that gone? New interface looks nice, if a bit claustrophobic.

Wish I could go back to the previous version

Klayecreation

All of my songs sound terrible since this update, I haven't even wanted to make beats anymore because they made everything more complicated and difficult, MAKE IT LIKE THE OLD VERSION OR LET US DOWNLOAD THE OLD VERSION AT LEAST

Love It!

I don't know why people are hating on this, I have used Fl studio before and after the update, and now...it's out of this world. I'm a music producer that is currently in college and has worked with multiple artists and they thought what they were listening to was made on the desktop version. All that to say, if you know what your doing, this app is freaking amazing!

What a let down

Lilsweet92

This update was a big let down in the sense that it just doesn't feel good to use anymore. Everything feels congested and they even took some features out. Even though they had a very long time to work on this update, it feels rushed. I understood when they said it would be a drastic change from the previous version, but I had no idea it would be a bad change. Black keys have a different velocity than the white ones and it lags when you try to record any notes (which basically makes the whole app useless). Now they want us to buy the HD version to "help store ratings". Yeah sure, the price was lowered on the HD version but I think it would be fairer to us people who used the app daily and even bought instruments to get the HD app free. I feel like I was conned after I saw that they want us to spend money on something that's just an HD version of the same app when we have been so dedicated to using this app. I'm not going to cater to a company that doesn't want us to buy its non-HD version simply because it doesn't help store ratings. If you are looking for a good app for making music, keep moving because this app is practically garbage now.

I like it

Myoosik

There are some bugs to work out - directwave samples not looping. Importing old projects is a bit wonky. For some reason it put a distortion plugin on the master of an old project and cranked it up. I imagine that's what a lot of people are complaining about with regards to audio quality. Once you work around those things the workflow and intuitiveness of this new UI is way better and more fun to work in. They took a lot of what I like about the flexibility of my other favorite app SunVox and applied it here. Looking forward to updates.

This ruined my bros year of beats

Rickiechong

This new update screwed up all of my beats! A year worth of Beats, all down the toilet because of this stupid update!!! Change it back to the previous update design and navigation

Pretty good!

LizardBoy67

This is a solid improvement over fl studio mobile 2, but the main reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is that everything seems extremely congested and is clustered into a very small space. Other than that, pretty good! ??

Still efffin awfull

opp cannot complete

Like i hate to be mean but cmon guys 97% of users would like to load older projects and there STILL not the same. STILL LOADING fx on every track. SMH. WORD OF ADVISE MY PPL BACK UP PHONE BEFORE UPGRADING SO U CAN LOAD FL2 back on your phone.

Completely Ruined

Forestcrunk

This use to be my favorite music making app. It was very user friendly and fun to use. But with the latest update they absolutely ruined it. I've tried for days to make sense of what's going on, but I'm utterly baffled. I've had this app for 6+ years and I was very disappointed to have to uninstall it because of this terribly unnecessary update. I couldn't even figure out how to change instruments or octaves. It's so user unfriendly and cumbersome to use now. What a bummer ?

This app is incredible very nice layout huge difference better wise just that it seems to be missing some little things like being able to cut down the notes to smaller mesures to be able to do hi hat Rolls fast and it would be nice to see some drum pack kits of all kinds but over all nice would love to see a way to add sakura vst and be able to add more vst plugins
