THE SITUATION
The world is a hive of distractions, multi-tasking, and cultural ADD. Many sit down to write and watch hours vanish with nothing to show but a trail of browser tabs. Flowstate is a response to the amphetaminic digital age. It frees the writer to turn on, tune in, and open up.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose how long you want to write (5, 15, 30 min), then enter a flow session. If you exit early, or stop typing for longer than five seconds, all progress is lost. The only way to save your work is by writing until the timer ends.

At First, You Panic

Then you find your "flow." Then, of course, you lose it and the panic returns. MUST. KEEP. WRITING. Then something truly amazing happens: you realize that all that time spent NOT writing, and just because you might say the "wrong'' thing, You could have been doing this. Obviously, not everything you type will be profound. But then, profundity is not even an option when you are typing nothing!
I like it so far, just one thing...

I currently use an iPad for most of my work, due to the fact that it has a nicer keyboard, and I just ask you to allow me to rotate the app horizontally.... Besides that, the apps great.

This is a really good idea. It really makes you focus and keep typing words. I think it is going to help my writing. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to get started but so I suppose it could be a little more intuitive. It's just that this app is too pricey for what it does. I don't think I'll be using it enough to validate the price point. But what for what it's supposed to do it works well.

It made a so manny copies of one page that I can't scroll down to my other pages and it won't let me delete any of them. All I did was click the grey circle at the top.

I love this app. Clean, sleek design. Simple and so so smart. I am amazed at the words that come out as I am thrust into "flow" by the restraints. Seems like exactly what I need as a writer. Freedom within structure is A++ with Flowstate.

Love this app but you need to fix the little bugs. Getting annoyed seeing a million duplicated files after completing a nice writing session. Seems to only happen with particular fonts.

This app would be amazing with landscape mode, I do all of my writing on the iPad pro and it would be amazing to be able to use the keyboard with it. Please consider landscape support for the next update, thank you!

My first 5 minute completed text which turns out to be a review of the app itself. (unedited) ----- It all started with a blank state. With no flow, life wasn't moving forward. A state that is simply depressing. And one day, the app that will change it all appeared. They call it FlowState. It was ... simply put ... refreshing. But it wasn't for the faint hearted. Many were lost in the name of flow. Those who were not up to the task, who couldn't manage to keep up with the time, perished. It was a 'waste' but in the name of progress, we shall persevere. Some desperately tried to hang on, by way of hook or crook. While some might scorned at their methods, the simple fact is that they survived. And in this world of distraction (doom), it was all that mattered. So now I bring to you a view from my own perspective, it was neither for gain of monetary or for fame. As it turns out, I managed to survived the first 5 minutes.
