I have used another flight tracking app for years, thought I would try this one. Out of the box, a poor start. I would not recommend it as it is not intuitive and is a bit of a hassle. I can't even tell about the frequency of update because I can't get into it.

Better than the airline sites

This app has more data and more often quicker than the airline apps. Don't like that you only get 3 views a day.

I use this app all the time to track my own flights and also the flights of others. I find it works great and in situations where an incoming flight that will be my outgoing flight might be so delayed that I would need to re-book my own flight, it is been a great help because I get to the desk and make my new reservation before everyone else jumps up and all the seats are taken
