Needs major update!

The game itself is loads of fun. But also very aggravating, some times the stupid ball goes through or goes nowhere after obviously hitting the dang ball.

Wow, just wow

Ooodddle

You really think this freaking game is worth a dollar? Its nearly imposible to level up and unlock modes and if you want to power yourself up once I hope you have lots of money cause its another badly spent dollar. If you want to level just do perfect for a few hundred pitches.

So many glitches

AMASING but ...........

Super__s11

It is a good game but here's the thing it is really boring

Too much grinding

Magikarp-Used-Hyper-Beam

I'll just outright say it to begin: Flick Home Run is NOT worth your time. The game is simple. A ball is pitched to you, and you hit it. Balloons, or should I say, how the game spells it, "ballons," are littered in sky, and if you crank one out over the bleachers and the scoreboard, the ball can bounce off of buildings, or even cars that can give you extra points added to your score. A meter that affects when your game will end decreases with every pitch, and hitting a home run can make the meter increase back to its original state, while missing a pitch is an out and decreases the meter even more. And that's it. For the regular game mode. There are six other game modes, not including online multiplayer for the regular game, and batting practice. The first extra game mode is "Moonstar." In Moonstar you get ten pitches, all easy lob pitches, and instead of hitting home runs to score, you score by hitting stars and bouncing off twelve moons in the sky arranged in a 3 by 4 grid. Twelve. Moons. I don't know what planet this game takes place on, but last time I checked, Earth has one moon. And you can't hit it with a baseball. I've tried. The other five game modes are unlocked by breaking target scores in the previous game mode, and the first of these is "Bunt Master." In Bunt Master, you bunt the ball on a target tapping the ball instead of flicking it. This mode isn't bad, but HOW IS IT SUPPOSED TO HELP ME GET ANY BETTER AT THE MAIN GAME? It's pointless, as well as boring. The second is "Total Balls," which is the regular game, but you only get three outs. (By the way, all of these last five games give you only three outs.) Absolutely pointless. The third is "Faster and Faster," which I think is the most fun out of them all. The only pitches you get are fastballs, and they continually get...Faster and faster. The point of the game is to just hit the ball as far is you can, and since that's basically what the main game is, I think it's the best. The fourth is "Giant Unit" and OH MY GOSH it goes from the best game mode to the worst. In Giant Unit, a "Giant Unit," or, how it's spelled on the base of the thing, "Gaint Unit," pitches you balls from higher up from the usual plane, so every pitch comes at you from a downward slope. What the game wants you to do is to pop every pitch up over the head of the unit to break balloons and hopefully hit a home run. But this game mode is just BAD. First of all, the target score difficulty hits a nasty spike right here, considering every other target score was super-easy, and since there's only one more mode to unlock. Second, I'm pretty sure unless you're INCREDIBLE at the game, there's probably a certain level you need to have your stats at. Oh, I didn't even mention the level up system. You get experience points after every finished game, with the total depending on the score. But after about four or five level-ups, it'll take about two or three fifteen-minute games to level up ONCE. And there are THREE different stats to level up to 99. And it'll take about five level ups at each stat to make a difference. You could just spend real money to increase your stats, but one dollar gets you ONE level-up for ONE stat. You can also earn achievements that give you one level-up each by hitting cars or popping balloons, but the achievement goals are unbalanced. Hitting 300 cars gives you one level-up. The next level-up comes at 3000 cars, and the next at 30000 cars. That is insane. Anyway, the thing that angers me about Giant Unit is if you hit a hard line drive at the Unit, it'll ricochet back at you and the game will call it an out. That was how I lost when I was one, simple home run away from unlocking the last mode. I was ticked. Also, shouldn't the game be teaching us to hit solid, line drives, like what Faster and Faster basically does, and not pop-up? The last game is "Moto-O-Cutter," which I haven't unlocked, because GIANT UNIT CHEATS. I unlocked it on my old iPod Touch a few years ago, and you just get these hard-curving shuriken balls thrown at you, and the ball can hit these wooden bats scattered across the sky. In the end, Flick Home Run comes down to one of those free pay-to-win games that you spend $0.99 on a download of the app. And it'll take $300 to get max stats. And there's grinding. Lots of grinding. I'm titling this review, "Too much grinding." And Giant Unit, GO DIE OR SOMETHING

Waste..

Matty10132088

DONT WASTE YOURE MONEY. The free game is a lot more fun than this one..it is so much more simple and easy and fun. This one takes a lot of time to actually upgrade and make the game fun and even then it still is just bad. You upgrade to 99 on at least 2 things but the only problem is each one upgrade takes at least 10 min and this is a big wast of time and monsy

Take money

Josh Belk

Ok so I love this game so much that I bought flick home run HD for 99 cents and now it is horrible when I flick it it goes only like 50 feet and on the other one it went out of free version maximum! Terrible app don't waist your money on it only get the free version

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Deathly12

This game has a ridiculous pricing. Also the levels are hard as you get further into the game. Maybe if you lower the pricing and make the levels easier you would probably have more buyers and more money. Also every end of a round regardless of your score It always says NEW HIGH SCORE!!!!!!!! If you do these things you will probably make more money than you did before.

Worst game ever

AWSOME Dude 48

This is the worst game ever. In The blockheads, I spent 100 dollars on time crystals and deleted it to get this game. When I next logged on, my data was all deleted. This is why the game should be taken of the App Store.
