One of the really cool features is Auto Destruct! You can set images or notes you send to your friends to auto destruct after a set amount of time. No more embarrassing photos or notes floating around! Great fun....
The app uses both WiFi and Bluetooth to connect devices and share files. Photos, videos, contacts, notes and games are available from within the app. Sharing other files such as Keynote, Pages and Numbers documents are handled via the "open in another app" feature from those apps.
To flick files to and from your Mac, download the free Flick for OS X from the Mac app store. On Mac devices the functionality is available only over WiFi.

This app answers the call for quickly transferring images, notes, etc from iOS to Mac , iOS to iOS, etc. The broadcast feature is really nice when you want to quickly transfer to multiple devices at once.
Fast, easy to use, better than AirDrop.

Since AirDrop doesn't work on iPads earlier than iPad 4, I was looking to use my iPad 2 to save photos I take with my iPhone 5. After installing this app on both devices, both launched apps auto discovered each other and I was able to send the photos with an intuitive flick gesture. Amazingly useful and fast app. I'm never deleting this app from my iOS devices.

Works great when both people have Flick open. But doesn't seen to work at all if one has it closed. So I don't understand why there is an option to set notifications.
