We’ve spent years building the world-class technology behind our app. Flashback is the easiest photo-sharing app in the world because photos are shared among friends automatically. If you’re in a photo, you should get the photo. That’s Flashback.
I had no idea when I downloaded this app and added friends and family that they all would be contacted by text message. I had wrongly assumed that it would contact through Facebook notifications. Some like myself do not like giving out phone numbers. I also didn’t want to bother family or friends who are working at the moment too and don’t need to be disturbed. I feel for anyone who downloads this late at night and suddenly flooded with unhappy family and friends who are woken up by text messages. Maybe I should have realized this when selecting people from my contacts. This is a good idea for an app which is why I downloaded it but it needs an option of how and when to contact people. Thankfully I only selected just five people at first because I can think of a few who would be pretty ticked off at me for giving out their phone number even if I didn’t realize what I was doing.
I started using the app and initially had not much photos, but once I started inviting my friends and when they joined, I started getting back my lost photos daily! It was really cool to relive those photos and giggle with my close buddies! Loved the facial recognition part and my friends were amazed when they recieved the photo instantly. Sometimes need to tag them once, but after that it worked great!!
I'm using it to share automatically the photos from my phone with my friends. It recognize them and send the photos instantly.
I downloaded this app just minutes ago and attempted to install it, but I never got a chance to use it because I was born before January 1, 1970... it was as if the app was saying, “Oh, sorry! You’re too old to have a smartphone; go back to the Stone Age where you belong!” It wouldn’t allow me to move forward without a Birthdate, but I thought lying about it would adversely affect the app’s ability to find lost photos. I’ll just do it the “old fashioned” way - through social media.
I thought this app would scour the net and social media platforms looking for my image through facial recognition, however, what it doesn’t tell you is that it needs to tag your contacts and then bombards them with text messages asking them to download the app so they can see the pictures they’re tagged in.
This app is amazing!! I always spend so much time trying to get my photos from my friends phones! With this app I don’t have that problem anymore... it helps me get and share my photos without having to spend time in it... just enjoying them!!!! Totally recommend it!
I downloaded this and thought it would be a fun thing to try. But when it sent me a confirmation code through the same sms that I had recently received from my bank. I instantly knew this was a fake app and for it to send me a message on a message that I had already received from my bank means it’s probably gonna try to hack my bank account. My bank has already been notified and are keeping an eye on my account and this app is being reported. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT IS A FAKE THATS ONLY DESIGNED TO HACK YOUR ACCOUNTS
They gave me an invalid code. I tried over 2 dozen times but couldn’t get past the SMS code.
Great app to have all the photos from friends and family with out worried about who had took the pictures.
