Works as Expected.

Thejahn

My 32Gig FlashAir III card works well in my Canon EOS 7D camera with a compact flash to SD card adapter. I needed to ensure the camera didn't auto shutoff before I connected to the phone to its wireless network and transferred thumbnails and images. The app is not too impressive but I wouldn't expect it to be. It does what it needs by allowing selection of all or specific photos to be transferred from the camera card to the iPhone 6 with iOS 10. The instructions are lacking to user the app and card thus I gave it 4 stars. Basically, insert eh card to the camera and turn the camera on. Connect the iOS device to the wireless network created by the SD card using the default 12345678 network password. After this, the app can be used to change app and network passwords. There is a network pass through mode that allows the iOS device to connect to a network through the SD card connecting to a network.

no RAW

no support for RAW?!! cmon

Update occasionally!

Rock4Jesus777

This goes for both the app and the card! Supposedly there has been a recent (in the last few months) a firmware update for the card...but nary a word about it from Toshiba! I have other apps that will update on occasion where they literally do nothing to the app but use it as a way to inform their users of an upcoming change to be aware of that may affect some other aspect of the app that's integrated from outside of the iOS ecosystem. Toshiba, if you want your customers to trust your product, you should put a little effort into your customer relations. Why should we trust your product? You never inform us of anything and spend hours trying to troubleshoot and fight your unreliable products. Would have been great to have heard about a firmware update! I have plugged in my FlashAir II card several times and have received no indication of an update nor your app! But instead I waste time trying to transfer a simple video from my camera. It gets to 100%, the app crashes and I have to start over! Seriously considering alternatives at this point. You're just too unreliable and clearly don't care!

Clunky yet it works

Sagemoor

After an hour of frustration with arcane coding glitches, poor grammar, and misspelled words in key places, the app surprised me by downloading my test photos from my Nikon DF camera. It helped when I increased my camera menu timeout so I could slowly work through the many FlashAir trials.

Does what I need when I need it

Legendmc007

I have never had a problem with the Flashair wo-2 or 3... except when I inadvertently deleted the firmware! MY bad... I only use occasionally when I want to transfer to my device while out in the field... It has never failed.

Horrendous setup

Chacho B. Morado

Maybe it's just me, but set up was So difficult and hard to understand. After consulting YouTube for some help, I was finally up and going. This is such an amazing concept and way less expensive than a new camera. I am still learning about it, but so far so good. I gave a high rating for concept but I can't stress enough, the setup with the directions included is a chore!

Strange RAW Support

RAW support is a big step, but why convert the natively supported NEF files to TIFF upon transfer?

RAW and Connection

Lmill_33

Glad RAW format is supported just wish it would load better for a Canon Rebels T5. Also connection sometimes will just drop while previously being connected to the phone.

Great RAW support!

Found the new RAW support really interesting and simply amazing.

Like it, but connection often drops

kb2004

My daughter had a softball tournament this weekend. A couple of weeks ago, my husband got me a new canon rebel EF5 camera. So i've been playing alot with it to say the least!!! I have been uploading photos, but lately the connection has been dropping and the app kicks me out. Very frustrating if u are uploading a bunch of photos. I tried restarting my phone completely, and even downloading smaller bunches (20-30 photos) at a time, but no dice. Please look into fixing this!!! ?
