Love it! please update it

Vdrumpro999

hey you know apple is giving new released placement for updates like the old days, right? excellent time to update and give us that pitch control. update to update update...PITCH CONTROL.. it'd be nice to have after almost a year.. still nothing compares to flare, but it's so limited by not having pitch.. baby decks has it.. i think this feature is well overdue.. djay is a great mixing app, but it's hard to use knowing how much better flare is on scratch.. Update to update: glad to see these changes, would trade them for pitch slider..;) But will keep my fingers crossed that it will be here soon. Update! Woa, that import from iTunes collection is a game changer! This answers everyones number 1 complaint about music apps! Kudo's on the early adoption! Working great on my 32gb 3rd gen touch. Don't be fooled by cheasy imitators! This is the real deal buy now! Soooo accurate! It's all about tracking.. And this app tracks right back rock solid every time.. the apperance of the dub plate helps with visual markers. Undoubtedly the best(only) turntablist app out there.. really really awesome not just a fun toy (but is, a super fun toy) can be very useful. The battle plates are old skool gems too.. the backing tracks.. Right on.. I have almost every music app in the store this one is #1. Hint for gamers, try playing it upside down with your right thumb on the transform button 'gamepad' style.. If you've got gamer thumbs, you'll be cutting on the 16th beats in no time. This dev improves his stuff so fast as iPhone OS evovles, we hardly ever have a chance to complain. Your $8 (now $5) is a lifetime, life changing investment in a really awesome true to life 'lil touch screen 1200 that ever evolves. This is the fabled wavetwister, pure turntablism.

You can scratch any song you want in your library, only thing missing is pitch, skins, looking forward for a future update.

The original.. The best!

Flare is hands down the best scratch app! If you can't figure out how to use it ... Is not for you! Probably should not have hacked your phone..

No updates in a year!

Carlitos673

When I bought this app it was the best turntablist app available. The developers have not made an update in over a year, the skin is terrible and they need to add another turntable. Djay for iPhone is a much better app.

Was good now is garbage

Things this app needs iPhone 5 update. Retina HD quality. Better sounding quality. Recording you sessions and exporting. A new look, something more realistic. I can't believe there haven't been any updates

NOT What I expected!

Krissodo

Baby scratch is better than this in my opinion , same thing just a fancier confusing layout and you can use the songs from your library"woopdeedoo", it doesn't even have a record option! Like baby scratch, I was hoping it was gonna be a really more advanced app for 5 bucks. I REALLY HOPE YOU ENJOY THOSE $5 More THAN I DID!... Although I consider that donation towards baby scratch its much fun

Best scratch app, realistic

Eddiethreat

I really shouldn't review this app, because If more people get it the secret will be out of thr bag, but this is THE BEST scratch app out there. It loads your iPod music files EASILY and scratches with great accuracy. If you practice with this, which have been constantly for a couple months you can get the feel down and get really good with it. I can do flares, crab scratches, baby scratch if doorstep, and easily do transformers. This is a toN of fun. I don't remember how much it cost but it was totally worth whatever I paid. The oNLy thing I don't like is the corny : future: skin on it. I like the look of the baby scratch better. But this is still great . Long review, I know, but it's reL, not a paid sponsor bull, it's reL

A real turntablist app

Dj Soundwave0

As a veteran DJ of 8 years, this app is great. The ability to scratch to your own library is flat out awesome, and can keep you in practice if you're on the go a lot and dont have time to get behind your own decks. The platter control is SUPERIOR to baby scratch, as it mimics a real Technic or Vestex table. I've read some of the other reviews from people downing the app, and I think they need to go back to school, and learn the basics. Great app!

Good, but needs work

First time purchaser of a scratch emulater app, long time turntablist/enthusiast.... that being said, this app is pretty fun! The only problems i see is the obvious getting used to milliseconds of lag that comes from using an app to emulate a real record and the fact that the zoom feature is Very annoying. First 10 minutes it didn't pose an issue, but now i seem to keep activating it too often. I wish there was a way to turn the feature off. ...Oooor just have them zoom in on the correct side of the record! C'mon guys, whoever built this, the zoom is on the Wrong Side! Seriously? Please allow disablement of the feature. Also, correcting it would be actually making the zoom worth it. I've never known anyone to scratch on the inside of a record. Only the outside.... Smh
