Works just fine if you, shocking I know, follow the instructions when you launch the app. Seriously, save yourself some frustration and the time it took you to write a negative review and just follow the instructions (wow, following the instructions, what a crazy idea).

Would love to use this app but won’t even get past the first few “instructional pages” just stops there! What the heck!?!?!

i was surprised that more people didnt enjoy this app then i realized that they weren't using it correctly. read the directions, you dont use the app, its like an add on you use outside of the app.it hard to explain thats why you need to read the directions.

—Open app —Read obvious instructions —Try to follow obvious instructions, but there instructions do not tell you what the hell to do when then aren’t any freaking icons to allow you to access photos. —Best of all, the support page is dead. Probably a case of completely irresponsible programmer or whatever growing bored with the app and abandoning it...without the courtesy of letting you know (but still accepting money for their worthless app).
How do you get past...

... the intro screens??? Will be happy to increase star rating... if I can actually get into the app & use it. I've tapped, swiped, shaken, everything I can think of. No go.

Well done, but don't expect a traditional photo editing app. This is a filter set you can enable. The partner (synced) Mac application is what makes this interesting IMO.

As one would expect from the Icon Factory, flare effects is excellent. You need to turn on the extension in the photo editing section of the built in photos app to apply the effects. Highly recommended.
