Good but 1 suggestion

Octo Evan

This app is very good and I usually use it for making fnf songs, but I have one suggestion, please make it so you can save instruments as dwp’s, I know how to make dwp’s but I don’t know how to save them as an instrument, I would like to be able to do this so I can use my dwp’s better Thank you for reading

Crashes after importing new files

snekebdbd

I just bought a new 808 sound file from the shop section and now every time I try to use a sound from there, the app crashes!! Please fix this!! The app cost money and some files cost money!! This is a good app if it would be updated and would crash!!

Hideous UI

PowerObject!

UPDATE: Good to know you folks are working on giving this gem of an app, a UI facelift and some personality instead of a 2D UI :) It would be really cool to see your desktop app’s EYE-CANDY quality with soft COLORS and futuristic FONTS (Avenir Next condensed font - see AudioKit apps) in this mobile app - it would look really, really great in videos and not an eyesore with its current 2D!! I create tutorial videos (see my MobileMusic channel on YouTube). Also, please add the “Convert AUDIO-to-MIDI”feature in this app from your desktop app. This is the MOST-requested feature on iOS but there is not a single app that does it as accurately as your desktop app. It should accept an audio file (like an a capella) and convert it to MIDI notes for export as MIDI file. Since you already have this feature module in your desktop app, it should be a TRIVIAL task to reuse the logic and add it to your mobile app and get a Big Bang for it. I’ll gladly update my rating to 5-Stars once the UI is polished and Audio-to-MIDI feature are done. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This looks like a half-hearted implementation. Do you have any plans to give the UI a facelift - on par with your desktop app? The horrible UI is the only distracting factor that kept me (and many others I know) away from using this app. Also, any plans to implement AU support?

I love it but…

Been away but I’m back!

anickt

Been using this for a couple of weeks now. Rock solid on iPad 8 and iOS 15.2. Sounds great. UX is great overall. Looking forward to update that is now in the works but even if they don’t change anything I can still get a lot done with this app. I find no roadblocks like I do on so many other iOS DAW’s. I like it! Also, if you have a problem with the app use the dev’s forum or support contact. They will work with you to make things right. Leaving bad reviews if you haven’t made the effort to get help is lame. ———- PREVIOUS REVIEWS: Got away from it for a while. Recent updates have brought me back. One of the biggest problems for me as the horrible file management. Integration with the Apple Files App has taken care of that. I like it because it’s different from other iOS DAW’s and it sounds great. If they can’t implement AUv3 support I can live with it if they add a sampler module that allows users to create their own instruments. Something along the lines of Obsidian in NS2 would be nice. Otherwise I put it in my top 3 iOS Daw’s. Once they update the import function to use something other than the horrible Retronyms Copy/Paste then I'll be happy. That should be in the next update from what they have said. Pretty much everything else I need is there. It's easy to use and sounds great. Users of the previous version were warned a year in advance that this would be a completely new app. Don't listen to their crying. They should have prepared for it. PREVIOUS REVIEW They have already said they are working on updates so I'm not worried about some of the things that are missing. I like what I'm getting out of it so far. The workflow is smooth and it sounds good. I've spent more and gotten way less.

Audio Clip sometimes doesn’t play exported audio

kshaianx_197

The app itself is great, but sometimes I try to add a song I’ve downloaded from YouTube into the audio clip section, there’s just this glitchy noise that plays for a few moments and the song doesn’t play, And lately it’s been happening way to much. Please fix this.

Sound randomly stops working

abbid2400

Sound will work fine for few minutes then the app is randomly muted, I turn my sound up and down ringer on and off iPad on and off and even delete/ redownload the app multiple times. It’ll fix it for a few extra minutes then goes back to being mute. I can never get anything done. Waste of money.

Great app, is just missing some features.

CreeperDude99

I don’t seem to experience any crashing, probably because I use the M1 ipad, but my main problem is that there aren’t many packs

Bad
