Outstanding

I can't imagine life without Fitnet. I can workout anywhere I go and without a physical trainer.

Good content undermined by bad app

capppbruin

I've tried Dailyburn as well so not new to this area. Fitnet streams all content which is a problem when it doesn't stream well. What happens is that the video starts skipping and sometimes resets and there is no way to fast forward so you have to sit through the workout again. Why no payback controls? Another shortcoming is that Fitnet doesn't let you download the workouts to use when offline. I tried working out in the park using a 4G connection and the streaming was so bad it was unworkable. There are other weird UI/UX decisions. For example, you can use the app to sign up for multi day challenges but you can't view more than the 2 per day your supposed to do. This is a problem when playback screws up and it doesn't register that you've done a day and you're locked out of doing the final day of a challenge. I don't know why they made it so you have more control. And finally, forget about using your laptop to do the workouts. You must use the app on a tablet or smartphone. This doesn't make a ton of sense given the touted feature of using a cam to analyze your workout (which doesn't seem to do more than register motion anyway). People have more webcams on laptops and phones and tablets are not always easy to position. The Chromecast integration is buggy and skips / drops and resets the video. Even feedback prompt to rate the app is annoying. It pops up while I'm working out and interrupts me! The teachers are good and the content is good. The content is let down by the technology here. Can't believe how many times the curious skip during playback... YMMV

Customized for any person even my 9 yr old

This is one of the best apps I've ever seen. It's very easy to use. You choose the different workouts that you like to do each day, or every other day or three times a week basically whatever your goal is. From there you were the one that designs the difficulty of each level you can modify it and each workout is anywhere from only three minutes to 60 minutes. What I like best about this app is that as soon as you're done with one workout you feel amazing the trainers on this that make you feel so good about yourself. And all of this information noted above is free free absolutely free!! I believe there's an option to buy in to this app if you would like a personal trainer to help you. Another thing I like that about this app is that my daughters can participate as well I choose a workout specific to their capability and within 3 to 6 minutes which is about their attention span anyway they're cute little workout is completed. PS they feel wonderful just like their mom :)

Love the new boot camp workouts

Animaldr72

I have liked fitnet in the past, but i just keeps getting better. Love the new bodyweight boot camp workouts.

Chromecast

Giorgia Marenda

I used to play fitnet on chromecast but the new version does have this feature anymore....

Inconsistent On The Watch

Vigatron

When it works it's pretty neat. I love being able to see total calories burned for the day as a complication. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to pick up the start of a fresh day on the watch no matter what I did.

Missing chromecast is a deal breaker

What Happened?

Ok, so I used to LOVE this app and was recommending it to anyone that would listen. What happened? They messed up their intuitive interface and now it’s a horror. Before, you used to be able to search by type of exercise - cardio, strength, and stretch (other). Now, the menu is gone and you have to put your own workout together from a really long list of exercises. Really?! Who has the time to select the exercises and bundle them? Before if you selected an exercise grouping - say Fire and Ice - you would get all six exercises and had the choice of playing them continuously. Now, if you make your selections, instead of playing the exercise next on the list, it defaults to the one you selected first. This means that you have to stop after each sequence to select the exercise segment you need. Again, what was attractive about this app, was that all you had to do was select your exercise group and bust out your 30 minutes or whatever you had time to do. I’m super bummed because the exercises are so great and the quality is amazing. The Apple Watch app wasn’t the best in the past but it didn’t really matter, because it was really only useful as a way to pause between exercises. I hope they didn’t make all these changes to get more data out of the Apple Watch because as a user that would be the last thing I need the app to track since I track my workouts through the Activity Tracker. The new Apple Watch Fitnet app makes NO sense to me. What is it doing? Counting calories?

Used to love the app

F.A Giraffe

I used to love the app and I do still love the exercises in the app. However, after the latest update, I am really missing the menu that you can use to select exercise schedules based on type and intensity. Right now I cannot find this menu anymore. Also, I somehow cannot find the cool down anymore (it used to just show up automatically after each workout). I think the app would be better if this menu would be returned to the app.

Just what I wanted

Moving from a fibit to an apple watch. I was very used to the TOTAL calories burned a day. This nails it even with a complication!! Only with there were some more features
