Reviews

Has potential but is lousy!
Dannosarusrex

If only this app would sync the steps from my Apple Watch it would be great. Instead it only syncs with the stupid LifeCoin app. It reads 0 steps, even if I’ve walked 6 miles at work. Horrible!

Garbage!
JJjdhajjagd

I gave it 1 star because it won’t let you give it zero. First time using app today during a workout. Got halfway through workout went to enter data between sets and screen goes blank. I leave app and now have to start a new workout and all my data is gone. This app is total garbage. Don’t waste your money. Even if it were free if tell you to find an app that works.

Great App
M.R. Nick

Love the training plans and meal options as well. I need a little more structure in my plan so this is exactly what I was hoping for to move into the next phase of my training. If I may make a suggestion, I’d like there to be an Apple Watch version of the app so I can upload the session into my watch and I don’t need to keep checking my phone to see what’s next and record stats. Other apps I’ve used have had that feature, although they were not as advanced as Fitness Buddy in other areas.. Keep up the good work!

Good resource but harassed to upgrade to premium
Matrixblue

I’ve enjoyed the library of exercises but it’s very annoying constantly being pestered to upgrade to the premium version when I already paid $4 for the app.

Good

Aggressive collection of data
JuzzyP

I am evaluating about 30 workout tracking apps, looking for a combination of features I need for my specialized routines. I’m sorry to say I could even start a proper evaluation of this one, as it is so determined to collect my data before even slowing me to use it. The opening 3 minutes with this app includes personal data (standard, age, weight, height, birthdate), followed by an aggressive advert for pro version (with large timer as if they need to convert you within 30 seconds!) and then they want a Facebook account or create new account to login. I have yet to see one exercise? (Or a terms of service and privacy policy?) For me accounts should be optional until I decide I want the features of storage or multi-device sync etc. So far, this app was more in your face about sign up than any I had evaluated. It may be good, I never got there I’m afraid.

Bad update
ryno999

Thanks for deleting all my custom workouts with the new update much appreciated.

Not useful
loan-guy

I have used different work out apps. This is by far the worst. I wish I didn’t pay for the premium membership. I am deleting it from my phone even though I paid for it. If you use it and like it , I don’t understand why but more power to you.

Rip Off
Dan Wissinger

Paid $3.99 (Ok, not a fortune) for this app and was immediately hit up for a monthly subscription when setting it up. Felt like a nasty bait and switch. I’m tired of apps insisting on plugging into my monthly budget. I deleted the app and will be asking for a refund from the App Store.

Doesn’t work on ios13
daroross

On iOS 13 and 13.1, the app crashes anytime display goes to sleep or apps are switched. Impossible to complete a workout or log any progress. Makes app completely unusable. Devs have had access to 13 since June and app hasn’t been updated in a month from this posting. Final straw after slow updates to incorporate features up to a year after they’re added to iOS. Cannot recommend anymore.
