Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
If you ride your bike for exercise and want to know your speed, distance, and bike route, this is the perfect app. This app tracks your location so you can tell where you ride, tells you your maximum speed and average speed, tells you how far you ride uphill versus downhill, and also tells you how many calories you burn. I absolutely love this app.
The app itself is great. However, your phone has to have the app open to work. It says it uses GPS all the time in the back ground, but once you start a trip you have to keep the app running on screen or it looses all of your progress. Maybe that's not a problem for some people but I like exploring as I ride and going new places. Since this app won't let you zoom out and look at your map to see where you are, you have to open a different app for maps and risk loosing your progress which is very frustrating after you've already gone a few miles.
First off, congrats to the developers for keeping this app's footprint tiny. Most trackers are 75+ mb but this one is just north of 10! Tracks bike ride on a map and presents a host of useful data in an easy to read format. My only complaint is that it does not seem to output to Apple Health.
Great free app that does everything I want: accurately tracks speed, distance, time, elevation & history with a clear and easy interface. Occasionally I bump my pull-down screen instead of pushing “pause” or “resume” in the top corner, but I’ll live with that!
I love this app but it needs to hold more bike ridding sessions in the history for people that ride their bikes more than once a day every day of the week in my opinion!!
Good app, but only lets you save 10 sessions with the free version
Went for a ride using this app and after my ride it recorded a 4.7 mile ride.. I know for a fact my Last stretch of the ride was 6.7 miles.. looked at the map and it had me jumping all over the place no where close to the trails and roses I was on.
