I love the idea of this app, and it seems like a fun way to get motivated, but I tried to do the 2500 steps in 30 minutes challenge twice now. My fit bit says that I walked 2800 steps both times but fit hero says I failed. Time to find new motivation.
I love the artwork and the idea of the app. My issue is the pedometer (using built-in on iPhone 6) simply does not update properly. I can't progress in the game because it keeps failing me even though I did double the required steps in the allotted time. The app only seems to update every 30 minutes or an hour.
The sync issue has been resolved for the Fitbit. Its has definitely had motivating effect on some days to complete the levels. I'm nearing the what appears to be the end. I purchased an additional character with gems earned. Ill update the review when I reach the end.
...but it isn't accurate, even linked to my FitBit! I have now tried to complete a challenge of taking 4,000 steps in two hours on two different days. Both times, my Fitbit said I'd passed that goal easily (the second attempt I walked another 1,500 steps just to be sure). But not according to this game! I really wanted to like this as I love the idea and found it very motivational, but if it isn't accurate then there is no point.
You need to update soon and add more levels!!! Would give 5 stars if more levels are added
Wanted to like this app. But the inaccuracy of pulling all of your steps from the Fitbit app make it impossible to complete the timed quests. Very frustrating. I'll be deleting now.
Man, making exercise fun, that is so cool! And want a well written app! More steps, more steps…
